  1. Just another amazing point from others that I did not think of in the OP; this will decrease queue times for all players and decrease the amount of repeated opponents. I'd like to explain this topic again for others that may still be struggling to understand why this would decrease queue times and decrease the repeat opponents. Imagine a scenario where members from two different guilds (B and R) are all queuing. Three members from B want to queue (B1, B2, and B3) while two members from R want to queue (R1 and R2). B and R both enforce the q/g system. In this scenario, B1 and R1 will both queue each other while B2, B3, and R2 wait for B1 and R1 to match. Then B2 and R2 will queue while B3 waits for B2 to match. Then B3 will queue to find a match. In every case, there is only two players in queue at a time. Now imagine the scenario above, except the request this thread is asking for is implemented. B1, B2, B3, R1, and R2 all queue at the same time. Only one may have to theoretically wait a bit longer for someone from outside the scenario to queue. However, B2, B3, and R2 have had their queue time dramatically decreased because they no longer have to wait on B1 or R1 to find a match. And the overall queue for players outside this scenario has improved because the amount of players added to this queue from this scenario increased from 2 to 5. For coding nerds, if you tackle this scenario like you would with coding, you would always choose the latter because it is simply more efficient. The amount of players added to queue at a given time only increases with the amount of members above one per guild that are attempting to queue at any given time. At no point would implementing this feature decrease the amount of players in queue. I imagine this type of functionality can only be added to PRO through a Developer, so I hope @Eatyor @Shaolancan take a moment to give their thoughts on the idea. As well as perhaps give an idea of where their would call on their personal priority list and update DEV to-do-list if its acceptable. I personally think the health of PvP is a huge factor for many of the active and vocal veteran community. And this change would be a direct and immediate impact and every PvP focused guild.

  3. I suggest to add some cool appearance poke ball as the reward.Because there is no reliable way to get specific kind of pokeball in pro at the moment. And it won't affect the market a lot, like rc price or pvp item price. And I think the most important thing is people play the mode for fun, losing or getting a pokeball won't tilt someone a lot.

  5. It would be nice to have the option for guild leaders to toggle an option that prevents guild members from finding other guild members in ranked pvp. It is common practice for many pvp-focused guilds to self-enforce a "queue/game (q/g)" system. For those unfamiliar with the system, it is quite simple. You type "q" in guild chat while you queuing for a ranked pvp match. This tells other members in your guild not to queue so you guys don't have to face each other. You then type "g" in guild chat to tell other members you've found a game and they are free to queue themselves. Why should PRO implement a guild functionality like this? Why do guilds even self-enforce this system anyway? A strong argument against the q/g system is playing friends can allow the opportunity for fun banter and opportunities to discuss mistakes and praise each other for good plays. However, this is a fantasy. Pvp is a competitive activity and it will cause people to lose control of their temper and create uncomfortable situations for everyone involved. There is no down-side to implementing this option for guilds. It would benefit all guilds who already self-enforce this system if PRO implemented a system that guild leaders can toggle to prevent members from playing each other in ranked pvp.

  7. I feel like right now the Boss CD Checker is very tedious to interact with. It would be way better if he lists all bosses that are ready to fight or will be ready to fight in under a day in a region when you select it rather than having to individually check each boss. As a small side note, an ingame way to check how close you are to the boss limit would be cool too. Right now, I am using a text file to keep track of my limit which just feels inappropriate.

  8. Hiii, I'm Queenofsocks also known as Marissa. I'm coming here from PokeMMO seeing that this game does a lot of things that intrigue me. I have signed on with Gold Server and I look forward to knowing all of you :) I tend to be a lady of polish, so PokeMMO is right up my alley, but despite this games roughness, I see a lot of potential and I hope I can enjoy it to the fullest :D

  12. The reason trainers and gym leaders don't give experience after the first try is quite simply that it would be abusable. You could intentionally lose on their last pokemon to easily level up your whole party which would defeat the need of grinding and preparing for gyms. The elite 4 does give infinite XP by the way, so you can abuse them in just that manner and rechallenge them infinitely until you become the champion.

  13. The Mienshao trade has been forced due to difficulties in meeting. Besides receiving it, 500k have been removed from @BingeDrinker and added to @Lux. @Lux Your shop is in infringement with the Trade Rules: Please remove the Forms and Shiny Pokemon from this thread. You can open a shop for them in Shiny & Special Pokemon. Good luck in your sales.

  16. This is a long waited feature, as I agree with Teerav,Mcshittier, Ayvazar and Papabear. The player base of PRO is already low and limiting every guild to have 1 person to q at a time will cause redundancy in the match making, the Q is either dead or makes you face the same opponenets over and over again. Besides this it will save alot of drama at times because many players are just waiting for other guildmates to G in order to proceed and most top guilds have 5 or 7 waiting for Q at times especially end of season which is demotivating. Having a feature that can toggle this option between avoiding fighting guildmembers or not is definitely healthy for the community in general.

  17. Hi everyone, in 2016 I started with PRO and it was fun, as Pokémon was back in the 90s. Back then I had an Idea of an Online Web-Browser Map where you can navigate through the maps and see what Pokémon are on there, maybe items what NPC and there Pokémon etc. I am a Software Developer myself but more on the Backend side with Databases and API's not so much with UX/UI. I tried back then to create something, but unfortunately I quit playing, and the Idea was gone. Now I enjoy playing Pokémon more and more again. But the big Problem I don't know the new Map's very well (Hoenn/Sinnoh) and the idea of an online map came pack. So here is my Idea its more visual and only a small local Project so way off of a finished version and what it could be. But let me know what you think: https://ibb.co/jWMZ9Y5 https://ibb.co/XWDVRyz A short explanation the colored boxes serve as navigation. The right side is intended for Pokemon in the zone, NPC and possibly items or headbut. The big Problem with this Project is to get the Maps because I have to make a lot of screenshots and merch them together. Which would be a big turn off in the long run. 18. Hello @Cyanirl, According to our auction rules you can't accept pokemon as tender in auctions. It has been removed I have linked the following rule below for your viewing. 14. Accepted Payments may be offered as an additional or alternative form of payment to pokedollars. These must: - Be specified by the seller. - Be an item, and its value in pokedollars must be clearly specified by the seller. › e.g. "1x Coin Capsule = 400K, 1x Reroll Ticket = 800K". › Pokemon cannot be offered as an Accepted Payment. Good luck in your auction, Polteageist.
