Hey there! I forgot to mention that you also lose 5% of your money (locked at 50k Pokedollars) when you surrender against NPCs that give you money when defeating them, excluding bosses. Hey there! You do not lose money by surrendering in battle. The only way for you to lose money is fainting in wild battles or in some rare cases while doing a quest (in these cases the money is saved and you should get the money back after finishing it). Hey there! You can ONLY get the EXP Boost if you talk to the NPC BEFORE you get the first badge. You CANNOT get it after that, only BEFORE acquiring the first badge. I hope this posted helped you with your concern. Kind regards, Noxious

Hey there! I am sorry for the iconvenience you experienced. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about your issue. In order to the quest, you don't necessarily have to buy a good Magikarp/Gyarados, a mediocre one will do perfectly fine. In Sootoopolis City, Hoenn, you can find a spot which excusively has Magikarp/Gyarados spawning. As Norex already mentioned, Bosses in hard mode have increased stats due to having 400 EVs in all of their stats (which basically means +100 in all of their stats, including HP, but a boosting nature gets extra stats due to giving a 10% bonus). Hey there! As you can see on the Official PRO Wiki Page, you can only get the EXP boost if you have the evolved data of 4 Pokemon before getting the first Kanto badge. I hope this helped you with your concern. Kind regards, Noxious
