Granted, this will be undoubtedly the largest, it will no different. Obviously no. 2-3 or even 5 days of new season doesn't have any affect of the later results. Also, keep in mind delaying ladder end or not won't bring you an update any faster. Moreover, iirc we won't be able to have the megas right after update. There are still mega evo items to get.
