in my opinion, to many differents langages, and staff have more important things to do... Like fixing crashes, or making new regions, or even adding more pokemon, creating more move sprites etc...

So I disagree

Everyone knows that, but this implementation would be necessary in the future.

Its mentioned here in this post ► READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A SUGGESTION!  under "Potentially Implemented Suggestions" section.

But it seems like it never became a thing or that other suggestions took priority and that this was most likely not possible at the time.

I'm divided on this one (it has been suggested many, MANY times) because it would require an immense workload, tons of hands, trustable users when it comes to translation and people with actual studies/knowledge when it would come to adapting entire questlines. I would argue -1 until Developers manage to find a way to properly translate the game (which is almost impossible considering the points mentioned above) without delaying future content.

+1 to translating the UI and NPC conversations. It's just reasonable to want to enjoy the game in your native language.

-1 to translating pokemon names, city names, moves and other gameplay related stuff. That just leads to issues and misunderstandings. For example Lavender Town is called "Lavandia" in the German translation of the game, Mauville City is called "Lavandia" in French.

Translating UI is fine, but translating NPCs is not worth the work. There is easily thousands of NPCs in the game each with tons of text, to translate it all with the workforce that there is currently would take years, and if they stopped making content for years the game would die

I project a storm

A whirlwind of gales and torrents

A cosmic array so vibrant

Born emerging from heat and flames

Tempered by violent rays ~

Hello, it's not easy due to how scripts are saved and loaded but I think it's highly underestimated how much work that would be.

Scripts currently have more than 12,421,961 characters and more than 500,000 lines. Additionally, every release would require translations.

It's definitely possible to translate the GUI but that would also cause problems in the communcation, for trades for example.
