Original it was planned this way, since we wanted to reach to every player out there, but if we see it's a long termed waste of time we might reduce the duration for the PvP pokemon. To give away these shinies just like that, I cannot accept it. I've been searching for them, I'm sure others have too and now, they're practically being given away to those who have deep pockets.
