As a reminder, PvP reports should be filed in our Report Center. Please make sure to provide enough evidence to support your claim. Failure in doing so will result in the dismissal of your report.

PVP Rules

1. Every match should be played out in a timely manner. Time-, PP-, Switch- or any type of stalling beyond reasonable usage is not allowed. Video evidence is required and without it we will not take actions. Video evidence may be deemed insufficient at Moderators discretion.
   • PP-stalling: Using moves to unnecessarily extend a match's duration with no proper reasoning such as using healing moves instead of attacking
   • Switch-stalling: Switching your Pokemon around with no proper reasoning instead of attacking.
   • Time-stalling: Waiting until the last few seconds to make your move on every single turn, prolonging the match more necessary.
2. Boosting in any form in Ranked PvP, random ranked included, is forbidden. Action will be taken if caught or attempted. | Rule explanation
   • Playing against someone under the same network connection is considered boosting as staff is unable to verify if it's actually two different people playing.
3. Intentionally queuing against a user to aid yourself or another user in the form of Rating, PvP Coins, PvP Chests, etc will be considered as Ranked Boosting and will be punished accordingly.
4. You can use only 2 of your own accounts to PvP within each season. Using any account you do not independently own, or using more than 2 accounts, will result in severe punishment.
   • Each account may only PvP on one server.
   • You may only have one account in the Top 25 at any point in the season.

     • This means one account across both servers – you cannot have one account in the Top 25 on Silver and another in the Top 25 on Gold.

5. Using false information or offering compensation to incite players to disconnect or draw in a Ranked Battle is prohibited and considered Illegitimate Rank Boosting. Please refer to Rule Explanation for more information.

6. Violating any of our specific PvP Clauses will result in sanctions.

PVP Clauses

1. Species Clause: The same two Pokemon should not be on the same team.
   • This includes the use of more than one Rotom form or a Pokemon together with its Alolan counterpart.

2. Sleep Clause: If you have already put a Pokemon on your opponent's side to sleep, and it is still sleeping, you cannot put another one to sleep.

   This rules is not induced by self-sleep inducing moves, such as Rest. Video evidence is required.

   • Natural Cure - Two Pokemon can be put to sleep if, and only if, the first Pokemon has Natural Cure (The reverse order would violate the clause as the Natural Cure Pokemon would be on the field asleep with an additional Pokemon being asleep in the party).

   • Pokemon that use U-turn/Volt Switch on the turn that they wake up will show as asleep until they are back on the field

3. Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset that is capable of intentionally cause an endless battle is banned. More specifically:
   • Recycle + Leppa Berry.
   • Harvest + Leppa Berry.
   • Trace + Leppa Berry.
   • Role Play + Leppa Berry.

Banned Moves / Abilities / Pokemon / Items / Combination

In this thread I will explain how we enforce this rule, what counts towards it and why it is important to cooperate with us here. I made the mistake and not thoroughly wrote down procedures, limitations and explanations for the community which resulted in some unfair bans that will be fixed as soon as possible, so count this thread as an apology for our mess as well. This type of stuff shouldn't happen, will not happen again and I take full responsibility for it.

The current rule that forbids any type of boosting.

PvP Rules said:

1. Boosting in any form in Ranked PvP, random ranked included, is forbidden. Action will be taken if caught or attempted. | Rule explanation
2. Intentionally queuing against a user to aid yourself or another user in the form of Rating, PvP Coins, etc will be considered as Ranked Boosting and will be punished accordingly.

What counts towards this rule?:

• Playing against any accounts you have access to
  • If Bob has the password of Billy and Bob matches against Billy in ranked PvP, you may risk of being flagged as boosting players. The best advice we can give here is that you do not share accounts to avoid any confusion here. Did Billy actually play or was it Bob controlling both accounts. Those are questions we have to answer.

• Playing against your own alternate accounts

  • If Tom owns the accounts Tom123 & Tom321 and matches against himself in ranked PvP, he will be banned for boosting.

• Playing on an account you do not rightfully own

  • Jake gave his account to Bob so he can play ranked PvP on it and Bob starts playing in ranked with Jake's account, you will be banned for boosting. Please avoid at any cost playing on someone elses account in ranked PvP unless you have full control over it (E-Mail is yours, you are the only one having access to the account and the original owner does not return)

• Disconnecting on purpose and receiving payments for it

  • Bob matches against Tom, Tom messages Bob & asks him if he could disconnect or let him win for 50k$. Bob should report Tom however if he accepts this payment both players will be banned for boosting.

• Disconnecting repeatedly against the same players

  • Billy always disconnects against Jake because he thinks he is the superior player. This might get you flagged as boosting if done multiple times as you are supposed to play out all matches. We can see the difference between server crashes, a user with bad internet or someone boosting.

• Disconnecting against Guild members on purpose or due to "Queue/Game" guild rules

  • Bob, Tom and Jake are in the same guild [ExamplePlayers]. Tom matches against Jake in ranked PvP and Jake disconnects during team-preview. If done multiple times you may get flagged as boosters.
    Jake writes in his guild chat or in a matchmaking chat on their discord that he is in the queue. Jake: queue
    Bob always forgets to write in that chat and matches against Jake. Jake is annoyed and tells Bob to disconnect because he broke the "queue/game" guild rules. This may get you flagged as boosting as well, as you are supposed to play out all matches.
• Playing against another player under the same network/connection.
  • Unfortunately staff is unable to verify and confirm if someone is really living with other people, making therefore impossible for us to see if it's one single persone with two different account or two different people. Reason we can't do that is simply that we don't live with you, it's not a problem of our tools.

If your guild has a "queue/game (q/g)"-system in place and you still accidental match, please offer draws for the matches. If you disconnect or give the opponent a free win, this might be considered boosting. Every match is meant to be played out and not freely giving the win to someone else. You are 100% allowed to play against your guildmates if you choose to do so and play the full match out.

This guide will explain any and all Chat rules, how we enforce them and what you have to keep in mind when using any of our official chat channels. Regarding some of the rules listed, you will first be warned for the behavior in question, rather than punished immediately. However, disregarding warnings and repeating the behavior will lead to harsher actions taken. Not following our rules can and will be punished accordingly, as per our

Punishment Policy. Excessive Rule breaks of those listed below, will be punished with a mute. As example swearing or heavy spam.

Explanation: Any moderation staff member (CC, Mod, T-Mod & GM) is trained in in-game moderation and is expected to warn users' before they receive any punishments however we do reserve the right to mute you without prior warning if we deem it was necessary. This may apply when heavy spamming is being done, very offensive racist remarks are being made, sexist/discriminating words/phrases are written or any other possible scenario. This is solely up to the active staff member discretion at the time but generally you can expect a warning before any mute.

Also important to note here is that all rules apply even if a Moderator is not online, we exclusively deal with reported chat infractions and issue quiet-bans when it is needed. A live case (when a moderation staff member is online) and reports are being dealt with differently. You can expect to receive warnings/quiet-bans when you are reported for any violations.

1. Deplorable behavior such as the case of foul language, profanity, harassment, and excessive toxicity is not allowed

• Behavior such this will not be tolerated, whether filtered or not. Similarly, avoiding the profanity filter will also lead to punishment.
• Chat toxicity and excessively posting complaints in the purpose of causing a scene or disturbing the general community will not be tolerated and lead to punishment.

Explanation: We aim to hold a very high PG standard within our chat channels henceforth we censor all swear words, even if they are not censored by the game itself. The systems censors a lot of swearwords with stars however these are still visible for every staff member. You can expect to be muted almost every time you swear at someone. We do make exceptions here when certain swearwords are being used in abbreviations of expression such as wtf & lmfao nonetheless if users' use abbreviations just for swear words like fk for fuck, bj for blowjob or smd for suck my dick you can expect to be warned or muted.

Filter evasion is trying to evade having your swearwords show up as stars, purposely writing them wrong or hide them within other words, this will also get you warned or muted as it counts as swearing.

The last thing you need to know is that writing stars as substitute for swearwords will also get you warned or muted as users' can not distinguish what is what neither can we when you are being reported.

• lmfao that is pretty funny / - Allowed as "lmfao" as abbreviation is allowed

Not allowed

• you fucking cunt / - This is strictly against the rules and will get you muted
• I hate my fucking life / - This is not allowed but most of the time you will get warned here before you are getting muted
• I hate my ******** life / - This is also not allowed as we treat this the same was as we would treat the previously example. Users' can not distinguish between the two as both times it will show up as stars
• This game sucks. Staff is ****** lazy ******* and don't do nothing. X game is better then this trash heap. / - While feedback is appreciated, Excessively complaining or berating either the game or the staff in our chat rooms will lead to a warning and then a punishment if continued. We ask if you have any suggestions, please direct them to the forums and be patient. We try our best to continue to improve the game as volunteers, but berating staff or the game will not help.

2. English Only in All Official Chats, excluding Other Chat

• In all official In-Game Chats, besides the Other Chat, you are only permitted to speak in English. However, feel free to make your own chat channel for speaking a non-English language. Here's a guide on how to make your own custom chat. Custom chats won't be moderated, but the Rules still apply in those channels. Any violation reported to us will be punished.

Explanation: This rule is very self-explanatory. You are not allowed to use any other language in any of our official chat channels besides English with no exception, you can expect to be warned and then muted every single time you use other languages. The only exception is the Other Chat which allows you to speak every language including English. This has to be enforced as it is unpractical and unreasonable to force every moderation staff to speak every language in the world, while we do have a very broad range on multicultural staff members this by far does not include all languages spoken in PRO.

• Every language other than English / - You are advised to use the language channels or the Other Chat

3. No Discussion of Infractions, Reports, or Applications

• Do not discuss sanctions in any of the official chat channels, do so in the proper section of the forums: Discipline Appeals.
• Do not discuss report-related topics in the chat. If you see someone violating the rules, make sure to report that player.
• Do not discuss applications in the chat. This will reflect negatively on your application.

Explanation: You are not allowed to discuss any form of sanctions, this also includes mutes and warnings. If you do have a problem or a complaint with a sanction you are free to make a complaint in our General Complaint Area however discusing it in-game will only lead to further sanctions. You are making it worse on yourself if you complain about it in-game instead of going to the proper channels for that. The same applies to reports and applications, those topics are to be handled in our forum. You will be warned and muted here when you continue to discuss/mention or make remarks about those subjects.

• You can apply as Moderator once the recruitment is open / - As a general rule of thumb, anything informative is allowed
• You can make an appeal in the forum / - As a general rule of thumb, anything informative is allowed

Not allowed

• I applied as Moderator and will perma mute you all / - You can't make it public that you applied, this will reduce your chances to be accepted as well
• Why did I get muted/warned/banned? / - You are not allowed to discuss/ask about or question your sanctions in-game, use the proper forum for that
• Why did Bob get muted/warned/banned? / - You are not allowed to discuss/ask about or question other users' sanctions as well
• Nobody replies to my appeal...lazy staff / - We are just volunteers and do staff work in our free time, being frustrated that your appeal isn't being replied to in a few hours is understandable however you are allowed to bump it every 24 hours. Discussing it in-game or calling staffs lazy will get you nowhere and most of the time will have a negative impact on your case as well.

4. Links and Advertisement

• Don't post any links in chat, with the exception of All Chat when it comes to advertising a livestream. (See All Chat Rules for more specifics.)
• Advertising your personal channels, other Pokemon games* and services not related to PRO is strictly prohibited.

  [*]Do not advertise private chat channels in any of our official chats* with the exception of language channels

  • *If you are advertising a private channel to avoid moderation we may join said channel and moderate it

Explanation: You are not allowed to freely advertise your livestreams without prior approval as we have to check your content first before we approve you. This is a very simple process to avoid non PG channels to be advertised in our channels. You will be warned and can expect to be redirected to our approval thread here, failure to adhere this will result in a mute.

We do not allow advertising outside of PRO's scope as a whole, we can not moderate or restrict those things therefore we block them entirely. You can expect to be asked to drop the subject, be warned or be muted if you fail to follow.

5. Avoid sensitive topics (Religion, Politics, Diseases)

• Be careful when talking about delicate subjects such as religion, politics or diseases. Remember, you are not alone in the chat.

Explanation: We do allow some level of civil discussion about these topics, however keep in mind that sometimes these topics can be highly offensive towards other users'. If you are asked to stop discussing a certain topic you should adhere to the staff members instructions. Failure to do so may result in warnings, mutes or even bans.

We aim to have a peaceful game with peaceful discussions, no matter how bad the world may be outside.

• Do not Mini-Mod in any of our channels, we encourage you to report any violations in our Report Center. You are allowed to tell a user kindly to stop rule breaking behavior.

Explanation: The act of a mini-mod is to display any sense of authority or punishing-power, if this is not being uphold the user is not mini-modding. Users' are allowed to drop reminders in chat to follow the rules, this does not classify as a mini-mod however threatening to mute or ban someone is. We do appreciate the effort from our users' to keep the chats clean but if an actual staff member is online please avoid doing it as it is our job.

Explanation: All these rules are there to ensure that the Trade chat stays clean, only for trades and doesn't end up in spam chaos. We do currently have a 30 second timer in place that prevents you from posting again for 30 seconds after you made a post however this does not mean the 1 minute rule does not apply. You are still expected to wait the full minute. The Trade Chat is exclusively for trades and nothing else henceforth anything outside of trades may get you warned or muted including just posting random letters or words.

Help Channel

1. General Questions

• Help Chat is the place to get all your questions answered.
• Random and/or off-topic conversations are not allowed. You must use All Chat for those.

Explanation: The Help Chat is a place for newcomers and beginners to ask questions about anything related to the game. If you want to showoff Pokemon, want to start conversations about quests or anything other than answering/asking these questions then you must use All Chat, Guild Chat, Other Chat or a private channel. It is almost impossible to not go off-topic sometimes however it is up to the moderating staff member when it is time to stop. You must accept what the moderating staff says otherwise you risk of being muted. We sadly can not make many exceptions here and will be enforcing this very strictly if we see that the chat is not being used for what it stands for.

2. Trolling

• Trolling, i.e. purposely giving wrong information, is strictly prohibited & will be sanctioned harshly.

Explanation: You are not allowed to troll in Help Chat under any circumstances, if you are found doing that or spread false information you can expect to be muted. We understand that not everyone knows the correct information however we strongly advice against answering if you are not 100% sure if the answer is correct. However if you make a mistake we will not mute you for it, we are all just humans after all.

Examples:

• You get a bike when you go to the E4, type "bike" and go back to the bikeshop / - Any form of obvious trolling will get you warned if continued muted
• The Bike costs 100k / - You will be corrected for false information, not knowing the correct answer is totally fine, spreading false information over and over again is not

Explanation: This rule comes in place when users' are starting to spread false information during their matches in Battle Chat, please just take your time reading the PvP Rules before you accuse someone of breaking those rules. If you are unsure about a rule you may ask it in Battle Chat but spreading purposely false information to benefit you will result in mutes.

Explanation: You may write "GG - Good game" in Battle Chat however under no circumstances can you taunt, harass or make fun of your opponents. This will be heavily sanctioned if found, you can expect to be muted here.

1. Other Languages

• In Other Chat, you may speak in non-English languages. However, you may use English as well.
• The General Chat Rules all continue to apply here.

Explanation: This rule is very self-explanatory, all other general rules apply here as well because it is an official in-game chat.

GENERAL AUCTION RULES | for buyers.

- In-game: Bids cannot be edited.

- Forum: Bids may be edited, however, they cannot be changed to a lower price than initially set.

› We recommend that buyers make and keep evidence of their bids. Timestamps are preferred. This is not necessary where bids are placed on the forum.

3. Bidders must have the means to honour their offer both:

- On the account the bid is made from. 

› Forum: If you intend to make payment from an alt account, different to the one used to make the bid on forums, specify clearly which account the payment will be made from.

› e.g. This may apply in cases where an account is forum banned.

- At the time of making the bid, and must remain available until outbid, or auction end.

GENERAL AUCTION RULES | for sellers.

1. Auctions cannot be cancelled once started.

2. All bids must be acknowledged, and all current/best offers must be publicly announced with the bidder's username and bid amount.

- In-game: This applies to every trade post related to the auction. Evidence of all bids received must be made and kept, to be made available upon Staff request. Timestamps are preferred.

- Forum: This applies to every in-game bid received, and must be acknowledged in the auction thread with a screenshot. Timestamps are preferred.

› This does not apply to bids received on the forum.

› Bids made on Discord are not valid or accepted.

- Accepting known false bids (from alternative account, friend, guildmate, etc) is prohibited.

3. Offers received outside of an auction cannot be:

- Claimed or used as current or best offer. 

- Used as a starting bid without the buyer's permission.

4. Auction winners must be publicly announced.

- In-game: A trade post must be made to announce the end of the auction, with the winning bidder's username and bid amount.

- Forum: A reply on the auction thread must be made with a screenshot of the completed trade window.

› In the event that the auctioned Pokemon/Item is traded to the wrong player, the trade will be forcefully reversed and traded to the rightful winner.

› In the event that the winning bid is a false offer, the bid will be made void, and the auction win will be offered to the runner-up. Runner-ups are not obligated to honour their bid in these cases. Where no runner-up is available, the auction will be made null and void.

5. When advertising, make it clear what Pokemon/Item is being auctioned.

- In-game: For Pokemon, include a link. For items, include the full name of the Item.

- Forum: For Pokemon, include a screenshot. For items, include the full name of the Item.

6. When moving an existing Selling thread from Silver or Gold forums to Cross Server, the current thread must first be marked as closed.

- Auction: Once started, an auction thread cannot be moved.

7. Starting price/point must be clearly stated. Once met, the auction has started.

- In-game: 

› As of start point, this may be one of the following 2 options: a specified time (e.g. "day/month/year hour:minute a.m./p.m. & Timezone"), or instantly as of the trade post (e.g. "begins now").

› As of start price, specified by the seller.

- Forum:

› As of start point, this may be one of the following 2 options: a specified time (e.g. "day/month/year hour:minute a.m./p.m. & Timezone"), or instantly as of the trade post (e.g. "as of thread creation").

› As of start price, specified by the seller.

8. End point must be clearly stated before the auction has started. This cannot be changed once the auction has begun.

9. End point is final and must be honoured.

- In-game: End points cannot be extended for any reason, and must be accurate to the second that the auction is set to end. It is recommended to use timestamps to manage your auction correctly.

› e.g. If the auction ends at 15:00:00, bids are valid until 14:59:59 and no later.

- Forum: If a bid is received in the final 15 minutes of the auction, the end point will be delayed by 15 minutes from that bid, and will be delayed by 15 minutes for each new bid thereafter, until the current offer has been held for a full 15 minutes. Must be accurate to the minute that the auction is set to end.

› e.g. If the auction ends at 15:00, it will end at 15:00:00. If a late bid is received in the final 15 minutes, at 14:46, the auction will end at 15:01. If another user bids at 15:00, the auction will be extended again, and will end at 15:15, this will be repeated until the current offer has been held for a full 15 minutes.

10. Last calls are prohibited.

11. Insta Prices, Minimum Raises and Accepted Payments are optional, however, if set, must be announced in public, and cannot be changed, negotiated or added once:

- In-game: The auction has been announced.

- Forum: The auction has started.

12. Insta prices, if met, must be honoured. Please read Rule No.10 of the General Trade Rules for more details.

13. Accepted Payments may be offered as an additional or alternative form of payment to pokedollars. These must:

- Be specified by the seller.

- Be an item, and its value in pokedollars must be clearly specified by the seller.

› e.g. "1x Coin Capsule = 400K, 1x Reroll Ticket = 800K".

› Pokemon cannot be offered as an Accepted Payment.

We have observed, over the last 3 seasons, what impact our rule change had and came to the conclusion that the impact was minimal however we acknowledge the displeasure a lot of players had with the rule change.

This is the reason why we tried to find a middle-ground which still allows testing in a real competitive environment henceforth from now on we will only allow 2 accounts being used in ranked PvP within each season.

You have to rightfully own the account, this means playing on a friends account is still against our rules.

This change will go live in the upcoming PvP season (February 2019 season)

7. You can use only 2 of your own accounts to PvP within each season. Using any account you do not rightfully own, or using more than 2 accounts, will result in heavy punishment.

• You can only have one account in the Top 25 at the end of the season, having more than one will result in heavy punishment.

PRO RULES

By registering to PRO, you agree to follow all of PRO's rules. Breaking any of PRO's rules will result in disciplinary action on your account. Appropriate punishments are issued per infraction. You can read the Punishment Policy for an idea of what punishment may follow for each infraction.

If your account is ever sanctioned due to breaking any of PRO's rules, you have the right to appeal. During the appeal process, we take careful consideration of the rule breaking, your behaviour whilst appealing, your honesty and your punishment record.

• 1. By registering to PRO (Pokemon Revolution Online), you agree and acknowledge the Terms and Conditions and these Game Rules.

• 2. Each person is allowed a maximum of four owned accounts.
  This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Any account created counts towards your 4 total, not just active ones. 0 hours, 0 badges, never played on? They count.
    • Received accounts, count towards your total.
    • Given away accounts, do not count towards your total anymore.
    • Received/Given away only count if you changed the password/email of said account otherwise it still belongs to the original creator
  • Exploiting more than 4 allowed accounts in order to gain mass profit or frequently gaining large amounts of income. If someone has quit PRO and gave their account to you, take anything you want at once and stop using it only if you already own 4 accounts. Be aware doing this may trigger a ban in which you will need to appeal and provide proper evidence of the account being given to you.
    • (Example: Having the password of more than 4 accounts you received by people who are inactive in order to fight bosses, doing PvE quests to receive rewards, or progressing during a Special Event in order to receive one time rewards such as Reroll Tickets, etc...)

• 3. Account sharing isn't recommended but allowed none the less.
  • The account owner will be held accountable for any infraction committed on the account.
  • Accounts shared with you do not count as one of your 4 accounts unless you are given full ownership of said account.
  • We do not offer support in proxy cases where you are banned due to connections to another user. Your IP and device are your responsibility.

• 4. Real Money/ World Trading is strictly prohibited and all accounts involved will receive a permanent ban if done.
  This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Buying or selling anything in PRO for money or goods in real life.
  • Exchanging anything in PRO for items, money, etc on another game.
  • Buying or selling an account on PRO for money or goods in-game. (Example: Coin Capsule, etc.)
  • Buying or selling an account on PRO for money or goods in real life.
  • Buying or selling an account on PRO for CC.

• 5. Using any kind of unauthorised software, hacking or editing the PRO game/ client is prohibited.
  Unauthorised software includes:
  • Any kind of automated software. (Bots, Macro).
  • Software which injects into PRO's files to give unfair advantages. (Speed hacking).
  • External software that gives unfair advantages, which is not endorsed by PRO.

• 6. Abusing glitches, and not reporting them as soon as possible, will result in sanctions.
  • Accounts which abuse bugs will not be unbanned unless all illegitimate gains can be removed from the account.

• 7. Not reporting incriminating evidence, helping a user evade a ban, and hiding illegally gained belongings are all strictly forbidden.
  This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Not reporting a user who you know has cheated or abused bugs.
  • Sharing accounts with a user who is permanently banned.
  • Trading stolen, botted or illegitimately gained Pokemon, items, money, etc whilst knowing of their origin.
  • Not reporting a Staff Member who abuses position, leaks Staff-only information to users or leaks unpublished PRO content.

• 8. Exploiting Bosses to excessively gain income is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Selling or buying Boss Service.
  • Fight Bosses on more than 4 accounts, regardless of ownership.
  • Fight Bosses on both servers with the same account. If you transferred, you will have to wait for the cooldown on the other server to end in order to rechallenge.

• 9. The Trade Rules must be followed at all times.
  • Rules may differ depending on which platform the user is trading on (Forums, In-game, Discord Chat).
  • Scamming another user when trading will result in an immediate permanent ban.

• 10. By playing PRO's Ranked PvP, you agree to the PvP Rules.
  • The PvP rules do not apply to the unranked/ friendly battles.

• 11. By engaging in the in-game chats, you agree and acknowledge the Chat Rules.
  • Private channel owners/ Guild leaders have the right to moderate their channels.
  • Insults and harassment are never acceptable, even when done in private channels.
  • PRO Staff will only moderate private messages if they are reported via the Report Center.

• 12. Deplorable behaviour, profanity, spamming and posting inappropriate/ adult content are all against the rules.
  • PRO Staff will report you to the appropriate authorities if your offence is considered illegal.

• 13. Posting malicious links, such as phishing links, adult content, or anything inappropriate for children is prohibited.

• 14. Impersonating a member of PRO staff is strictly prohibited and will result in harsh sanctioning if attempted.
  • If username based, the infringing account will be permanently suspended without question.

• 15. When registering an account, you must not take a username that is inappropriate for children.
  • You may be questioned or permanently banned if your name is deemed inappropriate.

• 16. Gaining unauthorised access to another user's account is strictly prohibited and will be met with severe consequences.
   
• 17. PVE Ladder related rules (currently active only during specific events but this rule is valid in any PVE ladder will be released from now on):

  
  Solo PvE Ladder:
  - Any form of boosting is prohibited. (Example, having someone else play for you in order to enter ladder regardless if free or paid).
  - You are allowed to have only one single account in a server PVE ladder.

  - You are allowed to have your own alternative accounts in your own party, as long as you keep it to the one party limit.

PRO's Rules apply to all official PRO Scope. This includes the forum, game, Discord servers as well as any officially owned platform.

Infractions done against a member of staff may receive additional or harsher punishments depending on the nature of the infraction.

Member's of PRO's staff team and anyone representing PRO (Discord moderation, acknowledged contributors, etc) are not exempt from the rules and will be punished significantly harder if they break them.

PRO Game Rules apply to all aspects of the PRO environment, inclusive of Discord, Forums, Ingame, etc.

GENERAL FORUM RULES

1. Deplorable behavior such as foul language, profanity, harassment, and excessive toxicity is not allowed.
2. Spam is not tolerated here under any form and circumstance. This includes, but is not limited to, offering services (charged and free), trading of things outside of PRO, recruiting members for your own projects (moderators, designers, professional MOD work, etc.).
3. Do not message members of staff in following cases; Appealing for a ban, Looking for support, Applying for a team, offering various services and so on. Those messages will be trashed and won't be replied to. If you need help with something use the Resolution Center sub-forum.
4. Mini-Modding is prohibited. We encourage to bring any rule violation to the attention of the Staff Team via the report button or through the proper forum. Do not respond to such topics yourself. 
5. Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media and so on. They have the right to report you for you plagiarizing their own work. Do not link illegal material such as torrent content sites.
6. Advertising in any form and way is against the rules. In case you want to advertise something you deem of a good nature, contact developers or administrators when you have the requirements to do so.
7. In appeals, complaints and trade posts you are allowed a bump every 24 hours. 

1. Content in signatures and avatars should be PG as per the game/forum rules, not profane and also consistent with normal writing and abide by the general forum rules. You may not include hidden text or links. Those will be deleted instantly.
2. Respect the given size limits. Do not try to bypass it by having more images or links. You can have more links and images but size must not exceed of a signature or avatar.

Punishment Policy

What is the Punishment Policy

The Punishment Policy is a system created to help the Staff Members to ensure that every single player is treated fairly and equally when it comes to issuing a punishment for a violation of the Game Rules.

It is good, however, to point out that punishments escalate based on the punishment history of the user being punished. For example, two users might receive different punishments (i.e., type of punishment + number of days) for breaking the same exact rule if one of them has already violated said rule while the other has not.

Terminology

• Severity levels : A method that staff use to help categorize the severity of various infractions.
• Mute : Prevents the user from using Public Chats for a specified period of time.
• Quiet Ban : Completely prevents the user from talking in PMs, Public Chats and Local Chat for a specified period of time.
• Trade Ban : Prevents the user from trading or sending Mails for a specified period of time.
• Temporary Server Ban : Completely prevents the user from logging in to the server for a specified period of time.
• Perm Ban : Permanently prevents the user from logging in to the server.
• Special Ban : A cutom ban that can be issued by Management and Administrators. Issued for really, really, bad things.
• Continued S1/2/3 Infraction: Infraction of that severity repeated to a point it escalated to the next level.

  • Leaking staff information (If Staff leaks it and then Player spread it instead of reporting to an Admin)
  • Excessive harassment towards staff.

• The Punishment Policy is a guideline for staff, harsher or bespoke punishments can be added and issued by staff if the majority of the Moderation Team and Management Team agrees upon it.
•  At any time, new punishment reasons may be added or changed to keep PRO as a healthy environment.
• Staff are not immune to the rules and are trained to follow the PP whilst apprentices. Abuse of this can lead to demotion.

Regarding some of the rules listed, you will first be warned for the behavior in question, rather than punished immediately.

However, disregarding warnings and repeating the offense will lead to harsher actions being taken.

Not following our rules can and will be punished accordingly, based on our Punishment Policy.

If you are constantly breaking the rules, you may be punished further.

2. English Only in All Official Chats, excluding Other Chat

• In all official In-Game Chats, besides the Other Chat, you are only permitted to speak in English. However, feel free to make your own chat channel for speaking a non-English language.  Custom chats won't be moderated, but the Rules still apply in those channels. Any violation reported to us will be punished.
   

3. No Discussion of Infractions, Reports, or Applications

• Do not discuss sanctions in any of the official chat channels, do so in the proper section of the forums: Discipline Appeals.
• Do not discuss report-related topics in the chat. If you see someone violating the rules, make sure to report that player.
• Do not discuss staff applications in the chat. This will reflect negatively on your application.
   

4. Links and Advertisement

• You can only post in-game links of the official PRO website and forum (example: dashboard, guides, support threads, etc). Live streams links are allowed in 'All' every 30 minutes.
   
• Advertising your personal channels, other Pokemon games* and services not related to PRO is strictly prohibited.
  • This does not include Game Freak and Nintendo games
• Do not advertise private chat channels in any of our official chats*, with the exception of language channels.
  • If you are advertising a private chat channel to avoid moderation we may join the channel and moderate it
     

5. Avoid sensitive topics (Religion, Politics, Diseases & similar subjects)

• Be careful when talking about delicate subjects such as religion, politics, or diseases. Remember, you are not alone in the chat.
   

6. No Spamming

• Spam in all forms is prohibited. Spam includes but is not limited to:
  • Excessive Letters, Symbols, Emojis, and Numbers
  • Sending multiple of the same message right after one another
  • Cutting up sentences into multiple messages when they can be placed in one sentence
  • Any unnecessary advertisement/spam to draw attention to your trade post
     

7. No Mini-Modding.

• Do not Mini-Mod in any of our chats, we encourage you to report any violations in our Report Center. You are allowed to tell a user kindly to stop rule-breaking behavior.
   

8. Rating and Pokemon builds.

All Chat

1. All Chat

• This chat is meant to be the off-topic channel. You can discuss multiple topics, as long as they are within the rules.
   

2. Trade Evolution Requests

• Trade Evolution requests may be asked in All Chat or in the Help Chat.
• Alternatively, you may request for a Trade Evolution in our Evolution and Deleveling Megathread.
   

3. Streams

• Streamers can post their stream link every 30 minutes. 

Trade Chat

1. Trade Rules

• Before you start using Trade Chat, make sure you have read the Trade Rules.
   

2. Sales

• You must not use any other chat for buying or selling.
• Double and Rapid posting is prohibited. You must leave at least 5 posts in between. Auctions being handled in-game must be posted once every minute, regardless if having 5 posts between Auction messages.
• Keep your trades in one post at all times.
• Off-topic is strictly prohibited, you may only post trade messages.
   

3. Commenting

• Trade Chat is used only for trade messages. Do not comment on other users' trades in Trade Chat or harass them in private messages.
• If you have concerns with a sale, you may privately message the seller, however, please do so respectfully.

Help Chat

1. General Questions

• Help Chat is the place to get all your questions answered.
• Random and/or off-topic conversations are not allowed. You must use All Chat for those.
   

2. Trolling

• Trolling, i.e. purposely giving wrong information, is strictly prohibited and will be sanctioned harshly.

Battle Chat

1. PvP Rules

• You must adhere to the PvP Rules.

2. Taunting

• Do not use this chat to taunt your opponents, this is strictly prohibited.
• Do not contact your opponent during or after a PvP battle just to taunt them, this is strictly prohibited.

Other Chat

1. Other Languages

• In Other Chat, you may speak in non-English languages. However, you may use English as well.
• The Overall Chat Rules all continue to apply here.

These chats may not be moderated, but this doesn't mean that you can go against our Punishment Policy.

For example, harassing other players in these channels is still against the rules. Evidence from those chats will still apply to reports.

TRADE RULES

NOTE: When trading as part of an auction, be aware that in addition to the rules listed below, all Auction Rules apply.

GENERAL TRADE RULES

1. When advertising, be clear and accurate about what you are buying or selling.

- When stating a Pokemon is IV+ (25+, 26+, etc), all stats must be equal to, or above the advertised numbers.

›  Exception: Decreased ATK, SPATK or SPD stats.

›  e.g. A Timid Pokemon may be advertised as 25+, if all stats except Attack are equal to, or above 25. 

2. Announcing a lend, sale, offer or bid with no intention or means to follow through is prohibited.
3. Once a deal is agreed upon, you cannot back out of it. A deal is done in one of these two scenarios:

- In-game: Both parties have agreed to a price and location.
- Forum & Auction:  An Insta or Fixed Price has been met, or auction won.

4. Scamming, Misleading or Deceiving players is prohibited.

5. Reserves (buy now, pay later agreements) are prohibited. Players must have the means to make full payment from the time of committing to a trade agreement (making an offer, bid, or agreeing to a deal) until completion of the trade or outbid.

6. Offers received outside of an auction cannot be:

- Claimed or used as current or best offer.  

- Used as a starting bid without the buyer's permission.

7. Trades outside of official PRO platforms (Forum, In-game, Discord) are not supported, or enforced by PRO Staff.

- Reports or evidence regarding trade agreements made on Discord may not be accepted.

8. All goods gained or traded as a result of an Account Hack or Scam will be forcefully corrected, any trade agreements made in such circumstances will be considered void.

- In the event that a trade agreement has been made, or a trade has taken place with any third party involving goods gained via an Account Hack, this will be forcefully reversed where possible, regardless of known or direct involvement.

9. When making a service agreement (Level-Up, EV-Training, Lending, PokeDex Data, Story / Quest, etc), players must take full responsibility to ensure that the service is completed as agreed. Any actions not approved by the agreement are prohibited.

- This includes: unapproved trades to or from own accounts or third parties, irreversible damage (evolving), payment is made, etc.

›  Evidence of these agreements must be made and kept, and made available upon Staff request. This is the responsibility of both parties.

›  Services that involve account sharing (Story, Quest, etc) are permitted, but not recommended. See Rule No.3 of the Game Rules for further details.

- Services that fall under Rule No.17 in our Game Rules can not be sold.

›  Dungeon services are still allowed however there must be no leaderboard placement involved. 

CROSS SERVER RULES

1. Cross Server sales and auctions must be posted in the Trades - Cross Server sub-forum.

2. When moving an existing Selling thread from Silver or Gold forums to Cross Server, the current thread must first be marked as closed.

- Auction: Once started, an auction thread cannot be moved.

3. When a trade agreement is made concerning players from different servers, the responsibility of transferring lies with the thread creator.

- This rule does not apply when there is an explicit written agreement between the buyer and seller about who will transfer to honour the deal. Evidence of this agreement must be made and kept, and made available upon Staff request.

›  When posting in Selling Pokemon - Cross Server, the seller must be prepared to transfer, should the buyer be from the opposite server.

›  When posting in Buying Pokemon - Cross Server, the buyer must be prepared to transfer, should the seller be from the opposite server. 

TRADE TERMINOLOGY

• WTS, WTB & WTT.

- WTS (Want To Sell), WTB (Want To Buy), and WTT (Want to Trade) indicates the user's intention when making their trade post or thread.

• SO, BO & CO.

- SO (Starting Offer) indicates the minimum offer required to begin an auction. BO (Best Offer) & CO (Current Offer) are both used to indicate the current highest offer in an auction.

›  Auction use only.
›  Evidence of all offers must be made and kept to be made available upon Staff request. Timestamps are preferred.

• Fixed Price.

- A set price, specified by seller, that once met will result in an immediate sale, ignoring all other offers.

›  Applies to standard sales (non-auction sales e.g. In-game & Forum Sales, Forum Shops, etc), and must be treated as Insta.

• Instant Price / Insta.

- An instant price, specified by the seller, that once met will immediately end the auction, ignoring all other offers and bids.

›  Auction use only.

• Trade Agreement / Deal.

- A deal is done one of these two scenarios:

›  In-game: Both parties have agreed to a price and location.

›  Forum & Auction: An Insta or Fixed Price has been met.

• False Buying / Selling.

- Agreeing to buy or sell, but going back on the deal before the trade has taken place.

• False Offering / Bidding.

- Making an offer or bid with no intent or means to follow through. This also includes retracted or cancelled bids.

• Misleading / Deceiving.

- Intentionally giving another user false information, hiding or manipulating information before or after the trade has taken place. 

• Scamming.

- Breaking a trade agreement once the trade has taken place.

›  e.g. Not returning a lend, breaking a Service agreement etc.

• Selling Pokemon.

- Use this forum to sell non-variant Pokemon only. This includes both standard sales and auctions. 

› Do not sell Shiny or Special Pokemon, Shop Coins, Items or Services here.

- You may sell up to 5 Pokemon per thread.

› To sell 6 or more Pokemon in a single thread, use the Pokemon Shops sub-forum.

• Buying Pokemon. 

- Use this forum to advertise that you are looking to buy a Pokemon. 

› Be specific to help others identify your posts.

• Shiny & Special Pokemon. 

- Use this forum to sell Shiny & Special Pokemon only. This includes both standard sales and auctions. You may also create your own personalised Shiny / Special Shop here.

› Do not sell non-variant Pokemon, Shop Coins, Items or Services here.

• Pokemon Shops. 

- Use this forum when selling 6 or more non-variant Pokemon. 

› Do not sell Shiny or Special Pokemon, Coins, Items or Services here.

• Service Shops. 

- Use this forum to sell a service, or advertise that you are looking for a service provider. This includes Daycare, Lending, PokeDex Data services, etc. You may also create your own personalised Service Shop here.

› Do not sell or buy Pokemon, Shop Coins or Items here.

• Coins & Items. 

- Use this forum to sell, or advertise that you are looking to buy Shop Coins or Items. You may also create your own personalised Coin / Item shop here.

› Do not sell or buy Pokemon or Services here.

• Rate / Price Checks. 

- Use this forum to request Ratings or Price Checks from other users. This applies to Pokemon, Items and Services.

- If you would like to close your thread for any reason, please edit the topic title to make Trade Moderators aware.

› This can include "Sold", "Close", "Can be Closed", "Please Lock", etc.

› If you would like to re-open a locked shop for any reason, please report the thread using the Report button, or, contact a Trade Moderator via PM with a request to unlock the topic. Please include a direct link to the topic you would like to unlock.

- If you do require the support from a Trade Moderator to resolve a trade issue, please do one of the following:

› Make a report in the Report Center with the name of the user(s) you are reporting, a brief description of the infraction, and evidence.
