Snorlax doesnt recharge after giga impact

Should'nt I be able to attack after skipping 1 turn? -
My snorlax doesn't recharge after giga impact and is continuously attacked by the oppsite pokemon. Am i missing something or is this a coding bug? This happens even when the oppsite pokemon faints or if snorlax is swapped into battle later.
