It is in windowed yes, I have resorted to playing it on mac right now. :Shocked:

Tried everything, the game decided to let me play until I got to Oaks lab and then back to black screen shenanigans. I even updated the drivers of my graphics card and restarted just to be on the safe side. I don't get it, the game isn't crashing...it's clearly capable of running the game and showing it as well.

I'm not sure I see anything related to Windows 8.1 on there, but I'll try the things there. Thanks

On Windows 8.1, no matter the client I have downloaded the game. I will start the game and view the log in screen, it only takes a second or two before the entire screen goes black. The music still plays and I assume the gameplay actually works but I simply can't see anything. If I go and click on firefox or anything else with the game still up - the screen becomes visible again. That is until I click on the game, where it goes black yet again.
