Full Hoenn Region Main Quest Quick Guide
Hikarinokage replied to Carlho's topic in Quest Walkthroughs
Oups, my bad, I didn't see the full video. You did aqua hideout first but for me the guard was still here before so i had to do magma hideout first. -
Don't trust homepage, check server status (sato project), it tells if it's timeout (and timeout means you won't be able to connect even though it's online).

PRO literally down more often than it is up...
Hikarinokage replied to Murlinator's topic in General Game Talk
Yeah! Whinning topic! -> Yesterday I wanted to play (haven't been playing for a couple of weeks) and I could for a little while. Then server crashed so I went to do something else. I came back in the afternoon / evening and I saw that there was a maintenance. This morning I checked and it was online again, but I can't log in yet :( -
So your way to discuss is as follows: "if you disagree, then you are irrelevant..."? Well, let me tell you that what you see as "facts" aren't facts at all. Remember? You're in Pokémon games! What does it mean? There is absolutely no such thing as "difficulty"! Take Misty for instance: I see loads of players asking "what level is Misty?", "what level should I be?", "how to beat Misty?" etc... I'll answer them, but I can't keep myself from thinking: "well, these people sure don't search a lot before asking for help". If you have ever played a pokemon game, you know that Misty uses water pokemons, and staryu and starmie are also psychic type. So what to do against those? you can either use gyarados - previously obtained as a karp from the guy in the mt moon pokecenter; and you might have noticed that it's really quick to level it up to 20 - which should know the move bite (dark type, physical): very effective against staryu and starmie. Else if you have a pika (as a starter or caught in viridian forest after searching a few hours if you aren't lucky) it can beat both as well. And in last resort you still have the rest of your team, haven't you? *And in Pokemon game I've always tried to grind for hours before fighting gym leaders or anything cause I like to have powerful pokemons even if I don't need too. Isn't the game about having as much pokemons as possible and as strong as possible? If yes so why most people ask "what level should I be?", are they too lazy to train more? Don't they want strong pokemons either? So, it took me about 10 minutes to write all that, but in my mind it just took a few seconds to think. Is there anything hard? Nope! And the rest of the game is all the same: you have to beat a trainer - npc you find tough / hard, you analyze his team and come up with a decent strategy. So, your so called facts, they're not facts, they're just you (as a lot of people) not willing to put some effort and the few seconds into thinking.

The pokemon games were really easy, the only part that you might have struggled with is e4. That game is a PokeMMO and it's obvious they made it a little bit harder to add length to the game. But it's not really hard actually! You may loose important battles, you may not earn as much money as you'd need but that's it. The more you play the more you understand about the game mechanics, and in the end all it takes is to find good leveling spots (which are few) and train a good team appropriate for each trainer / boss you wanna beat! Thing, plan and train! Not that hard! (and EVs make it even easier).

Ok thank you for your answer!

Hi everybody! One question about evolution again. I asked people how to make happiny evolve, they gave me 2 answers: 1* let it hold an oval stone and level it up at day (so between 12 and 18). Which I did: nothing happened. 2* max happiness then level it up at day (12-18). Which I did: nothing happened. So I figured perhaps a 3d way would work: max happiness + oval stone + level up at day: which didn't either!!! So how on earth do you evolve this bloody happiny?
-
Hi there! So, it was day time (about 19). I checked Budew's happiness: 255. I leveled it: no evolving. But it was rainning and I thought it could prevent it, so I leveled it up once again with sunny weather: still no evolving. So, I guess it's a bug. Or did I miss something else?

Thank you for your answer, Rakanishu! (D2 player, right? ;) )

Evening ladies and gentlemen! I've heard that you can go to many places in PRO that don't exist in the other pokemon games, such as trainers valley, love island, etc. I don't know anything about these areas and I'd like to know if you have to meet some requiremet to access them or if they're MS exclusive areas; and of course if there's anything interesting there?

Does anyone have a standard for epic Pokemon?
Hikarinokage replied to Dudekid's topic in General Game Talk
epic means 30,31 in both main stats of the pokemon. -
Someone needs to NERF these Gym Leaders
Hikarinokage replied to Notaccountable's topic in General Game Talk
no, all of the game's gym leaders are easy! you just need one pokemon with the good level and the good moves. -> 1st badge: solo with totodile (ice fang - lvl 30) --> 2nd: zubat (wing attack / air slash - lvl 30) -> 3d: totodile (slash - lvl 40) ->4th: crobat (crunch - lvl 50) ->5th: crobat (wing attack / fly - lvl 60) ->6th: growlithe (flamethrower - lvl 90 ) ->7th: growlithe (flamethrower - lvl 90+) and luxray for dewgong (thunderfang - lvl 90) ->8th: luxray (thunderfang - lvl 90) and gyarados (ice fang - lvl 80) Now I'm training a snorlax and some other dragons just for fun. I'll probably beat the johto e4 with a lvl 90+ team (One Shot every of the pokemons). My team should be: Arcanine lvl 100, Hornkrow lvl 95, Gengar lvl 90+, Luxray or Raichu lvl 90+, one dragon (Dragonite, Gyarados, Kingdra) lvl 90+ and Snorlax lvl 90+. And most of my pokemon have messed up EV and bad IV. EASY, I'm telling you it's easy!!!! In Johto training is much faster than in kanto cuz you have the rod right at the beginning. At cherrygrove city you can fish lvl 11-16 tentacool / tentacruel that make leveling really quick. Then in Eructeak city, you may fish krabby / polywag / poliwhirl lvl 15-25. Getting a full team up to 55 in a couple of hours. After that you can surf and encounter lvl 28-34 tentacool / krabby / tentacruel and near safari there are lvl 28-33 fearow, gloom, noctowl... so you can level your team up to 90. Takes more time but well, after that badges 5th to 7th are peace of cake. Then you can finish the training in dragon den (pokemons lvl 40-53 which give huge amount of xp). -

Hikarinokage replied to Notaccountable's topic in General Game Talk
i had caught a siquirtle, that I trained till lvl 75 and made evolved into blastoise. It did the biggest part of the job with only Surf. Then my sandslash lvl 75 finished Blaine. Hard? No. It's easy as hell. Even 8th gym and e4 are a joke when you have the right team and the right level. -
1-Mew* 2-Horsea 3-Pika 4-Gengar 5-Dragonite (always liked dragons) *I think I like Lugia as much as I like Mew, too bad we can't catch it, and I went into the Whirl Isles and we don't even have access to it.
