I'm stuck on mt.pyre the old man don't say the right thing in order to let me advance on history.

After talk to the old mans in mt.pyre i can't enter in time magma hideout, and i don't know why. on the walkthrough it says the old mans will tell us that need our help, but in game they don't say me that.
