omg. Didn't know that Devon Scope won't actually reflect in your inventory. THANKS!

Recently, I was able to beat the Team Magma + Team Aqua grunts in the Rusturf tunnel in order to get Peeko and the Devon Scope; unfortunately, I was not able to acquire the key item in my inventory. How would we resolve this? I am currently stuck in this story.
