so there is no other regions or islands to visit besides johto and kanto`?

hi guys i just beat Red on mount silver and dont know what to do next. is there any other regions you can acces right now or any ther islands? would be cool if you could help me out. and if thre are othere regions who to acces them tryed already avry spot i know but no succes. thx in advance
