250208248376 I'm pretty sure that regardless of their own rules, PRO rules come first, if they do something and their rules contradict PRO rules, the buyer should still report them all the same.
I'd always suggest screenshots though to log in case someone tries anything, programs such as Puush make screenshots fast to take and easy to link in the forums to report someone.
As one of the Head GMs, I feel that I can say: LeoChaos is correct. We as staff don't go by what the seller puts in his shop, especially if it goes against one of PROs rules (or even against more than one of the rules.) We encourage everyone, that if you see someone putting these ridiculous stipulations all up in their trade post things, report them. Cause I can make them change it, or I can remove it. They can have their pick. That will be all for now

As a former guild leader on the blue server I would have loved this. This has the potential to not only create another money sync (as seems to be a trend lately) but can also improve guild quality of life. +1

233153 It's really nice to link sometimes the pvp rules in game, but i think, and one guy already suggested that, a little "pop up" when a game is started in pvp that would summarize the moves/abilities which are banned in pvp would be a great feature.
Most of the players doens't pay attention to the forum, and even if there are some naugty players that clearly abuse buggs, i think (i hope..) that most of them just don't know what they can or can't do following the rules.
Just a little screen that will show the few moves that are gamebreaker and can lead to a ban will be a huge help for all pvp enjoyers, and i'm not sure it would be that hard to code this, even if updating it may be a pain.. Hope it will came one day, i may consider posting it in suggestion if some gm tells me so.

It's really not hard to level pokemon to 100. Just beat johto and unlock the right areas. Besides, doing pvp right after Kanto is a terrible idea because you will have such a limited pool of pokemon to choose from, and available move tutors and tms. It's definitely worth it to finish johto and unlock cerulean cave before you do pvp.

It depends on seller and server, things tend to be more expensive on blue/red but cheaper on yellow since the yellow economy isn't as developed yet.

1. A tyranitar and a ninetails starting the pvp fight, sand stream and drought ability, what happens is that we have sunny weather. And u see the icon at the start for sun.
i am very sure that the icon is sun but the weather is exactly sandstorm
so ninetales never wins the weather fight at the start of battle vs ttar :Shy:
and i think all weather icons are sometimes bugged
sometimes the weather icons are still there, but the weather exactly faded
or weather icons disappeared but the weather still there
I've personally experienced this and it is quite annoying. I do hope the icons can get fixed soon.

It's not even a debate, the people defending it are those with Shadow tagged Gothitelle's giving them 400+ rating.
Regenerator isn't all that bad because you can just whittle them down.
But if it means we can ban shadow tag, ban them both. PLEASE.
I think we should simply just ban all Smogon rated Ubers, I don't see why they are not banned? Please explain.
The game should be focused mainly around OU PvP.
I pray all the day for a Mod who think like this.

Funny thing is, the guys I saw here who defending Gothitelle, definitely have one in their ranked team and couldn't even get to top25 :Nervous:
How about have an actual argument instead of pulling rank? Why not explain your thoughts? This is a discussion, and you think a top 25 player like yourself would have something to contribute to the discussion instead of coming around and using your rank to bully others.

If you have a heavy stall team Gothielle is going to destroy you. I've fought several shadow tag Gothielles and they really aren't that hard to beat. If you run things like blissey, and regenerator slowbro and end up facing a trainer with gothielle you are going to get destroyed. There's ways to beat gothielle with team composition and movesets. If Gothielle is this big of an issue then try restructuring your team composition and doing research instead of just complaining about it.
Also I'm happy that Gothielle is forcing a meta change. The heavy stall/pp stalling is so boring xD

I have recently joined PRO and so far I have really enjoyed my experience (with the exception of a couple of things that differ from the traditional games, but nothing "game-breaking") and I think that PRO has a great future ahead, to look forward to.
With that being said, I have noticed that the Spanish-Speaking community is quite large... In fact it's huge. I am however not surprised since Pokemon is a worldwide phenomenon and it has been quite a popular game for years here in America (that would include South America as well ofc)...
All of PRO's areas (community-wise) seem to be managed as far as I can tell, but what about the Spanish community? You see, something peculiar happens with the spanish speakers (myself not-included) and it's that they will almost never participate in a discussion (or a chat channel) that speaks anything other than Spanish. Take the "Other" channel for example, on the very rare occasion, people from other nationalities sometimes pop-up, though quickly leave once they realize it's full of spanish speakers. These people instead of insisting, simply go to an English-Speaking channel, using what little English they may have.
Spanish speakers don't do this. Even if they speak English, they simply don't care to speak with an English-Speaking community. There is no logical reason as to why this happens, but it simply is this way. Perhaps it is due to the fact that the Spanish group is a big one compared to others, not sure.
Fast-Forward to what this thread is really about...
The Spanish-Speaking community needs managing. There is too much swearing and profanity being exchanged back & forth, all day long... But there is no one to control this. A couple of days ago, if I recall correctly, a girl/women/female was asking for help, fortunately there is always someone willing to help out and she continued enjoying the game.
The problem is that the swearing is simply out of hand in this channel... It is a very common thing to see people in there saying throwing words like "[Censored]", "[Censored]", "[Censored]"... Just to name a few of the more "innocent ones".
Is this ok? Is it ok that we know many of our players are still childs and are being exposed to such profanity? What about our female players?
Of course they don't speak up since there is no one there to control the problem.
I propose 3 solutions to this problem, since I dislike only complaining and not offering options:
1 - I am 100% fluent in Spanish, thanks to me being an English Professor, currently teaching in a private Government-Funded institution here in Mexico. Ask me for a list of profanities, I can write it up and provide it so that you can implement it in the censoring filter for PRO's chat. You can't just Google for a list and voila... Slang terms are updated every day in our ever-evolving society.
2 - I can help you train one or two of your moderators, so that they can detect bad behaviour in the chat and act accordingly.
3 - I can help moderate, but I can only log in about 4 - 5 times a day, and the time I can be on playing can vary from 30 minutes to 2-3 hrs. tops.
Either way, I hope I have helped in some way or another by putting this out here.

If you see this happening, would you mind making screenshots and reporting this please? It is not feasible for those of us who do not understand Spanish to translate this in real-time and therefore moderating the channel in-game is incredibly difficult in an efficient manner, however in reports we do have time to translate and understand the true meaning of statements.
Players themselves can help us a great deal by reporting things such as this, and is very much appreciated.
Just a question, is it possible to add spanish cursewords/insults to the profanity filer?

This is not how the problem can be resolved, by banning only one or two or both of these abilities. There is more behind this that only 2 abilities. And coming up with such a vote will have us going on to "Should we ban gale wings ?" "Should we ban multiscale ?" ...

Your point of view on this survey is way to dramatic. The results dont mean much, but it is nice that we will get at least some data.
Because we dont have any, zero. Everyone is just talking about his personal experience and noone looks at the bigger picture. So here we go, lets have a first look at this.
Making something asking for someone's opinion, and then calling someone's opinion "dramatic" defeats the purpose of collecting data. Just saying.

It was so hard to make money, too expensive, and with all the scammers I just totally quit blue. It's also really rough on newer players. I'd move to another server and start all over again if I had more free time. Because it's ridiculous^^
