Case solved, how do I lock this thread?

Yesterday I bought a Gengar with Modest nature from a player. Today I decided to start EV Training it so I gave it a Kelpsy Berry. Next time I checked the nature, it became Bashfull :Angry: Not only that but its IVs also got swapped, It had 31 IVs in Speed and after the nature change it got 31 in Defense instead. I'm not sure when or how the nature and IV got changed/Swapped but I think it might've been because of the Kelpsy Berry. Help please. :/
