It's okay, it finally worked ^^ Dunno how but now it's solved!!

Hello I am posting this because i can't teach surf to my blastoise lvl 52. I have 5 badges and i have surf, but when i select surf and then my pokemon nothing happen. Can someone tell me why ? Is there a bug or something ? If it is any help, i tried then to see if i could teach Cut to one of my pokemon (i have several that could theoricaly learn it) and i have the same issue, nothing happen. Thank you for your time, i would greatly appreciate your help. I am kind of stuck without surf now.
