191507 i have to say that i agree with the excessive rules around profanity i'd like to see different channels like in poke mmo where you could have a non pg channel for example and i don't see any young kids playing this game since alot of parents don't allow their kids to use the internet etc (the youngest kid i've seen on the game was 12)
Every game has its own set of rules of which the community are expected to abide by said rules. The game you mentioned has their own rules and it has shaped their community. PRO is a pg community, it doesn't matter if others within the community hasn't seen children play the game we still want a child friendly environment we will never allow adult content. With that being said you can create your own channels in game that is free from staff moderation.

180444 Has there been any thought in implementing a hierachy for Guilds? From what I see it's just 1. Leader, 2. Members and that's it
Having maybe a 5 stage hierachy would be beneficial and make it feel more like an actual guild, having people 2nd etc in the hierachy that can actually invite people to a guild would be so good, it sucks only the leader and no one else can recruit people for a guild.
Just a small thought
Edit: Does the 'Manage' tab actually do anything, I'm a guild leader and it is completely empty and seems like a useless or WIP tab
This is already planned, but there are tons of things that are higher on the priority list development wise. I'll fill you guys in on what is to be implemented in the future. For starters a fully customization hierarchy system that lets you choose the names of your own ranks as well as the option to choose a co-owner. A guild bank that will store pokemon, money and items. Those two are all but confirmed and is why the management tab currently exists, other things such as guild bases/housing and bonuses for guilds when hunting together/raids are something that has been discussed but is not set in stone yet. There isn't an estomate on when the confirmed features will be implemented.

The server was down it required an admin's attention but we weren't around at the time. Now it is back up.

The light theme was used it the past. It was brought back at my request its great to have options.

We don't allow account resets, however, you may create a new account and start fresh.

Hi Kurushiimohamed, the staff have already confirmed that an auction house will be added. In fact it's apparently already ready to implement, they are only waiting for the server stability to be improved before it's put in the game.
Can confirm server stability is indeed the issue here, otherwise it would already have been implemented. The real question is when will servers be stable enough....answer....in the future.

Nice thread and overall solid structure however, there isn't a need for admin assistant or ban appeal assistant in our current hierarchy just isn't a need. Staff required duties are in game and forums all other outside resources such as irc, discord and etc is not required, which would be the same for streaming services and social media sites. Although, not required I don't have a problem with staff managing/overseeing such sites providing that their production doesn't drop.
Here is the current Staff structure(sorted by alphabetical order):
Management
Admin
Dev
Group Leaders(under certain circumstances)
Content Staff
Artist
Content Scripter
Mapper
Community Staff
Community Coordinator
Game Master
Trade Moderator
Pre-Staff
Apprentice
Later, other groups will be added(battle mods) but we really don't feel the need to over do it and give staff extra duties.

Actually, during very early alpha Shane gave lifetime memberships to players whom donated when we needed funds for the server. This was before we even had an official server, the likelihood of it happening now is low, but it could occur under special circumstances just not on a regular basis.

Use Tiled its most likely what everyone. PRO has it's own custom map editor.

Server is expanded often. When we began beta i believe it was around 400 available slots. We have steadily grown at an exceedingly fast rate and will continue to do so as time goes on.

Aside from mapping aesthetics we will stay true to the handheld games. With that being said fakemon wont be implemented.
