    Assistant to Scientist Ray dissapeared

    I disconected after beating the raikou guardian boss for the third time in a row, I was going to get my Raikou but the boss did not give me the option to get my synchronise pokemon so I disconected.

     

    As a result the assistant scientist that changes the bells dissapeared when I entered the building, Now i`m stuck with the zap bell and cannot catch the other legendary beasts. Pls help

    I used stealth rock and roar with my donphan to deal with volcarona and Ho-oh but... Ho-oh died and the battle got glitched, Could not finish the game as shown below.

     

    Won`t be doing that strategy again haha. If My timer could be reset that would be awesome! Thanks

    It is, the fact that they want it to resemble some more the original is a really good thing. Also there are a lot of pokemon for you to farm.

     

    I agree it is a good thing. I'm pointing a flaw in PRO with regards to Pokemon balance. In many games out there there usually is some kind of compensation for a changed item, perk or in this case a pokemon. It exists with the purpose of not turning a player's effort and/or $$ into something they now dislike and/or is worthless. A very good example is the balance of cards in card games, after something is nerfed a player gets currency that is equivalent to the cost of the lost card so they can buy an equally valuable card. This is a player's insurance if you will.

     

    When this exists in a game players follow balance changes with no fear knowing their work and/or money won't be in vain.

     

    In my case I managed to get an epic hidden ability Tallonflame after weeks of hard work. It was very powerful pokemon as many others out there, but it was not without it's weaknesses though... stealth rock, rain teams, water tanks, etc. Either way I wouldn't care if Nintendo balanced the poke and PRO followed if I had some kind of insurance.

     

    Pokemon Revolution Online is the Pokemon game I always dreamed of since my long journey from emerald to pokemon world online. But the way it is now I have an immense sense of loss (2-3 weeks!) to deal with inside of me. I have seen how people who had a Blaziken are now extremely disappointed because it was removed from ranked play, maybe some can handle it and move on, but I'm not like that. I simply cannot go back like nothing happened and risk getting angry instead of enjoying the gameplay and losing precious time and effort.

     

    One may say it is my fault for not checking if this game had ''insurance'' when I started playing. Oh well I won't do the same mistake again.

    You do realize that PRO tries to stick close to the official Pokémon games in terms of stats right?

    It's an update that has been made for Gen 7 overall.

     

    I knew it was not a PRO initiative, sorry for my extreme salt when posting.

     

    What I want to know is if our Devs considered the hard work we put into those pokes before implementing Gen 7 changes. I get PRO tries to follow game freak updates but I think the game should consider the RPG grinds we have here? As I said this is no pokemon showdown where if talonflame gets nerfed I can simply take any other full 31 hidden ability pokemon of my choice for a team.

     

    Whatever...No point in complaining anymore.

    Came back after several months only to find my talonflame turned to trash. Soooo many hours farming for it turned into nothing.

     

    This is not pokemon showdown you know, nerfing might very well turn a lot of spent time on grinding into nothing, 100% wasted time. The feeling of loss is enough to drive me away from the game to not experience it again. GG PRO, way to make me quit. Bye and see ya...not

    Some time ago i noticed there is a way to change the password of an in-game channel, change it`s name without deleting it and creating it again.

    If possible could someone post these commands? It would be nice to have a manageable channel instead of the usual -=- pm XD.
