First of all its below 130s and not 120s which seems well balanced since a lot of players already finished the quest successfully. You just have to figure out the strategy behind it.

180s seems way to easy and would mean the quest would be no challenge at all.

I would like to suggest to increase the Mega Manectric Quest Race from 120s to 180s.

i'm using scizor with 381 atk and choice band and got 132s, but i need to do it in less than 120s, please you can increase it to 180s, i think many players would appreciate it.

You do not lose any mega stone in order to get their mega version, you will however need : 

• You must have obtained the mega stone that is in accordance to the mount. For example if you were to get the Mega houndoom mount, you need the Houndoominite in your possession
• You must have the basic or shiny version of the mount you want to mega evolve. So the shiny houndoom mount for the shiny mega houndoom and so on 
• The price of changing the mount if of either 400k, 100 pvp coins or 200 pve coins
