  1. this does not bode well pls don't let this game's chat end up like a twitch chat repeatedly spewing the same handful of memes every 3 seconds flooding anything intelligent off the screen. don't invite it in </3

Yeeeah I know these aren't the most important things and you've got bigger fish to fry for the moment, but there's a few minor things I'd like to see eventually. 1: It'd be cool if the summary window popped up when we caught wild pokemon, including those sent to the PC. This will make catching for IV's a lot more convenient in the future, just making the suggestion ahead of the curve. Having to run back and forth from the PC just to see if you caught anything worthwhile is going to be a completely unnecessary pain in the butt if this isn't added. 2: I really, really wish I could manually resize the game window. I tend to multitask by always half-screening two programs, and PRO won't let me do that. Ideally, I'd want to run PRO on one half of my monitor and a browser on the other half for video streaming. Really helps with the monotony of leveling/IV hunting/EV training. 3: PC item storage would be nice. I can only imagine everyone is going to end up with a lot of items in their inventory, and having PC item storage would make keeping the excess items to a minimum a lot easier. I like having my inventory at least somewhat organized so I don't have to waste time looking for items when I need them.
  3. Don't FLOOD it with login attempts, because if enough people are doing that at once it can crash the entire server, but I think it's safe to attempt to login after the "Server currently full" text fades after your last attempt. That's what I've been doing, anyway.
  4. You can get out, just go to the exit tile and log out before reading through the dialogue, it SHOULD send you to your last save point and/or last used pokemon center when you log in again.
  5. When I click my Pokedex, I get a System message in the chat saying "You don't have a pokedex yet." I think what caused this, is I talked to Oak, got my starter Pokemon, then talked to Oak again and received the pokedex, then left without seeing the "Wait, there's one more thing" etc. dialogue the game was supposed to trigger when you try to leave before getting a pokedex. I realized around the time I got to Pewter that my pokedex wasn't there, and decided to walk back and see if I could talk to Oak again and resolve the issue, but he just asks how my pokedex is doing. Also worth noting, when I tried to leave, it triggered the "Wait, there's one more thing" dialogue calling me back to receive the pokedex every time. I had to get on the exit tile that triggers the dialogue and then log out and back in to get out of Oak's Lab (It sent me back to Pewter thankfully.) I may be wrong about all this and it may have had something to do with the server crash instead, but hopefully my little report is detailed enough to resolve the problem if it is an npc/script issue. If this has already been reported, I haven't seen it on the forums, so I thought I'd go ahead and make a report myself, sorry if this is a duplicate thread. Edit: Oh crap, I misread, sorry for making a new topic instead of posting in the NPC/scripting bugs topic. My bad. I'd delete and do it the right way if I could, but too late now.
  6. Thank you for your reply~ I've been lurking in the IRC for awhile, I know what's up with membership/capacity. I'm just saying, even if the capacity goes up, the server may still encounter situations where there are more players than open slots, so adding a login queue proactively is still a good idea, in my opinion. A pre-emptive strike, if you will, against possible future scenarios such as what was encountered today. It'd be cool for this to be confirmed/denied outright, but I understand you can't really answer, as there's only one programmer and he'd be the one having to do the work.
  7. So I think a login queue might be the most important thing you could add at this point. I assume you know why, but i'll give an explanation anyway. The current login system is chaos, complete chance/probability. With a Queue, players attempting to login would be put into a list, and the server would go down the list connecting players in order as slots open, but most importantly it would ensure one-click connections. I've been clicking login nonstop for like 2 hours and am fed up with it, and I'm sure many others are as well. Hopefully you can get a login queue programmed and patched in within a few days, because not having one is probably turning away potential players, and nobody wants that. In addition to that, it'd cut down on people flooding the server with login attempts when the server is full, which can ONLY be a good thing.
