if you would have S5 so you could just update to the new marshmallow update and the game would worked, since it's a S4 and the update will not get to this device your only option is rooting the phone. i have S5, and i have the exactly same problem, in the second this update will get to S5 i'll be able to play on my phone.

Gyarados can take out both koga and bruno of johto e4 with dragon dance, i'll explain: Koga starts the battle with skuntank, every turn he will try to sucker punch you but you will use this to use dragon dance as much as you wish and after you got to maximum speed and power you will start attacking with EQ, use ice fang on venemoth and crobat and your good to go, you will sweep his team like nothing, now we beat koga we're heading to bruno: Gyarados lead again, bruno open the match with hitmontop using sucker punch (again xd) you just use dragon dance until you reach the max, than you start EQ them/aqua tail or whatever move you want (it has to be a physical move) you sweep his team as well. that's it! you took two members of the elite 4 without risking other pokes and save them for karen, you need to take her first 2 pokemon down and then she will use spiritmob and guess what he use? sucker punch! xd, gyarados and you knows very well what to do here. When does it appear? in the RAR file or when you are trying to enter the game? also, check if your computer is 32Bit or 64.

the quick attack.... :) and to the topic - in this method, it will be annoying to heal him every match :/ well, even a quick attack won't make it because switching is a priority, it means the wild pokemon still has a turn for attacking before my eevee has its turn for using quick attack, isn't? that's why you need to let your false swipe pokemon to die first, so you will need to send a pokemon to the match and than you can choose move.

hey :) i have the same problem, from what i know, if you will update your android to the new marshmallow version the game will work fine! i'm still waiting for this update to get to my country so i can't confirm, but i'm sure other people who update will. :)
