Question about selling pkmn

Hey all.

Just started playing again after about a year and a half and I'm still quite the noob. I was wondering is it worth it to try and sell pokemon with good ivs but wrong nature/ability. I have some pokemon with great ivs but posting them in the trade chat over the past couple of days has returned almost zero results.

Should I:

1. spend more time posting in trade chat?

2. release the pokemon that don't have the right ability, nature and ivs and focus on catching ones that do?

Could you give me some guidelines on what is sellable and what is not?

Update: So I just sold 2x Feebas (including the one I have linked above) which I thought were trash because of both nature and ability beeing wrong but they did have good ivs.

 

Did they sell because they are rare? What am I missing.
