Hi there,

I just discovered PRO, and I am looking forward to try it, but unfortunately (or not) I recently changed OS to Ubuntu and I am not really sure what to do.

I have read complaints on the forum about the linux version of the game crahsing randomly. Would you recommend running the windows version with wine instead of the linux version? I downloaded both. I am also a bit confused by the format of the Linux file, it looks like a windows exe file to me but then again, I am just starting with linux so I am probably wrong. Could someone explain to me how to install the linux version.

Yep, I saw that thread already. It explains how to run the windows version with wine, which I've tried. It works fine.

But on the download page on the forum there is a linux version (link is embedded in the penguin picture). What about that one?

go to setting and check "allow excuting file as a program"

You need 64bit version of linux to run it, its just a x86_64 extension. (an excutable for linux)

Many thanks to both of you, I was missing the "allow executing as a program" part :-D

So I have both options (wine+windows or linux) running fine, I'll see if I have more or less issues with one or the other.
