Zinsmiter
Alright so i read the other Focus Sash bug thread in this bug section and the thread got locked so i couldn't reply. The OP of the other thread says that it disappears completely. He didn't mention whether it was a PvE battle or PvP. It might be true that the Focus Sash is supposed to disappear completely if this is against PvE content. But it is NOT supposed to disappear completely in PvP. I haven't tried it myself (and i'm not gonna until some staff can confirm it does not disappear in PvP after a battle, since i don't wanna lose my items permanently like what happened to my Black Belt after server crash). So don't consider this issue as solved due to the item being judged to work as intended, if it does indeed disappear in PvP battles like the ones you play when you use the Ranked PvP Queue. Rivaille
79245 Yes, and they are not supposed to, in PvP. That is a Pokemon X and Y, ORAS, Black and white, etc. Here no.
Zinsmiter
Oh really? And what gives you the authority to say that? Unless a developer backs you up on that allegation, your words mean nothing. Most decisions taken already in the game are based on the real games. If not they are mostly explained. Such as why there is no breeding and the move Fly doesn't work due to the game's philosophy. Furthermore, websites with information such as https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Main_Page are frequently used when determining how certain moves are supposed to work. So if you know nothing about this please refrain from spreading false information about the developers' vision for the game.

Zinsmiter
Yes, in PvE Edit: Here's a good thread about people discussing the Focus Sash and you will see that it in fact does NOT disappear in PVP battles. And yes, this is pokemon X. https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/696959-pokemon-x/67736604
Eleaten
I feel like some users (and potential staff) haven't played competitive before are still trying to comment, which adds to the problem. Anyone that's played using the items in the last few generations would know that items only disappear for the battle, but are returned to you afterwards. It would be strange to limit competitive in this way anyway. If you're against having the item, don't have it in the game at all. There's a thread about this in the suggestions forums also, so I'll repeat what I said there - 78503 Why does it have the same criteria as berries? For berries it makes sense as you can easily get multiples if not hundreds of them. You only have a chance of getting a Focus Sash every 2 weeks. Focus Sash should only disappear for the remainder of the battle only, but after the battle ends the items are 'returned' to the Pokemon. Sort of like a Wild Pokemon using Knock Off on one of your Pokemon holding anything.
Zinsmiter
I agree completely. I created (or recreated) this thread because i believe the staff member that locked the old thread came to the wrong conclusion based on the same line (referring to PvE) that the user: leekhoasoooo, underlined. Edit: By the way, about your quote concerning berries. Even berries are supposed to be returned after battle. This may not seem like a big deal in the case of Sitrus berries or Lum Berries, but there are berries that are almost impossible to get in the games, so it really is a big deal in these cases. But Remember, this game is a fangame, no need have the same rules that PkMn and never says ¨This never will implemented¨ Only says ¨Here no¨ and that is truth for now, you know...
