Returning player.Should i start anew?

Hey guys so i last played in the end of 2016.I left i dunno maybe the game got boring for me.So i downloaded today and i merged and started playing my old account i have 26hrs in it ( i know not too much but still more than 0hrs).I joined in and i had no idea wtf is going on.I forgot the controls,the basics,the aim,the story,what i was going to do,my strategy.So basically my question is do i forget about this account and start a new one or do i try to figure out this one?I really need help..s

You can check your Trainer Card to know where you are story-wise. Otherwise, a clean start is always fun but really depends on you.

Honestly your choice, though would recommend continuing on your quest as if you have less then 100hrs, you haven't missed much in the game that you wouldn't already know.

Since playtime is needed for many things such as bosses and legendaries, I'd reccomend keeping your account. 26 hours is better than 0.
