I was watching some gen 1 pokemon few days ago and now I'm feeling so much nostalgia.

That said, I would like to host a GEN I TOURNAMENT!

 

 

[spoiler=BASIC INFO]

In this tournament you MUST use only gen I pokemon (dex number from #001 to #151).

The tournament will be played on Showdown, with Showdown rules.

Format: [GEN 7] Anything Goes

 

The tournament will be hosted in Emfire discord for both servers.

Tournament will be single elimination

 

Finals will be Best of 5

Semifinals will be Best of 3

Quarter finals will be Best of 3

All the other rounds will be Best of 1

The format is Anything Goes [GEN 7], but it will follow mostly OU rules.

Baton Pass, Substitute and Arena Trap are allowed.

Mewtwo is NOT allowed.

Ditto and the legendary birds are allowed.

Z-moves and Megas are NOT allowed.

More than one of the same specie in your team is NOT allowed.

Your team must include only GEN I pokemon.

Tournament will start on 10th November.

Brackets will be randomly generated using Challonge’s random seed generator.

Each round will last 3 days.

Failure to attempt to contact or respond to your opponent will result in forfeit.

In the case players cannot agree to find time to play the match within the timeframe, a Tournament Organizer will decide via coin flip or based on who put in the most effort to schedule the match.

60k pokedollars

50 honor points

Pay the 20k entry fee.

A tournament organiser will tag you to collect your Entry fee.

Ah, there's one more thing...

You can only receive honor points if you have the Sun Warrior role in emfire discord.

To become a sun warrior, just check #apply-for-sun-warrior channel in the emfire discord.

You don't have to apply to participate, unless you want the honor points.
