I am not entirely positive how this bug occured but here we go...

I sent a level 6 gastly into the fight initially and pinsir spams seismic toss instead of the moves that would obviously 1 shot it.

If I had to take a wild guess it's because the gastly is low enough hp for it to 1 shot with seismic toss so it ignores the type effectiveness (entirely ineffective,) and keeps trying to use seismic toss like it's the trashy low leveled thing that it almost is.

 

This combined with the fact its main nuke (x-scissor) is 1/2 damage to gastly.

It's just improper priority levels in which the script carries out and handles the process.
