Gmail is the most likely to receive it, so trying again with it, should remedy that. If you are using Gmail, check your junk mail and make sure you typed your email correctly. This could take up to 30 minutes. Using Incognito Mode or different browser, like Firefox, could also work.

I am asking again, just to be sure: Did you try using another browser, such as Firefox, Microsoft Edge? Incognito mode can also help, to receive the Email.

Also, try pressing on the button that resends the notification email. Since the message appeared, it means it was sent. You might need to wait for longer than some hours, maybe a whole day.

You can also give it a try and try logging into the game, in case something didn't go as expected, but somehow worked.
