hi, I'm here because I started pvping with azumarill and whirlpool isn't 4-5 turns like it says

In my pvp video , Tentacruel broke out the whirlpool before perish ended which is 3 turns. Look into it please and thank you because it happen to me quite a few time when I was testing my team.

 

I'm assuming its coded from previous gens? idk , bye thank you

 

I would +1 extend this to all trapping moves as they all appear to not work as intended along with the grip claw which did not change the duration. Though if the moves themselves are fixed then grip claw does not really matter to have working since I do not think anybody but heatran could make use of it.
