Amigos Knockout Tournament

After a short break, ♥️The Amigos♥️ are proud to announce their latest event, Introducing the Amigos "Knockout Tournament". Like all other Amigos tournaments before, this event will be held exclusively on the Amigos server and feature some amazing prizes, including a shiny Heracross as the grand prize. This tournament will be a Gen 7 OU tournament with some very special and unique rules. All matches will take place on Showdown so you will need to make sure you have a showdown account set up in order to participate.

Rules:

☆ Players will play against each other in a 'Best of 1' Gen 7 format with the winner of each match progressing to the next round of the event.

☆ Players will be given a collection of Pokémon to choose from in order to build their team (about 30 in total). These Pokémon will be the same for each player. We will ensure there are enough Pokémon for each round. (6 × Number of rounds = Total Pool)

☆ Players may build their team from any of the selected group of Pokémon but only being allowed to use 1 of each species.

☆ Knockout Rule. If a Pokémon is Knocked Out (K.O.) in any round of the tournament, they can no longer be used by you for the rest of the event. For example, if your Clefable get's K.O'd in round 1 of the event you may no longer use it for the rest of the tournament, even if you manage to make it through to the finals.

☆ Players may swap/edit their team at any point including moves, held items, ev spread, nature and even the Pokémon themselves if they so desire, as long as the Pokémon has not been K.O'd in a previous round.

☆ The tournament will progress as a best of 1, including the final match between the 2 winning players.

☆ You may vote on the Pokémon pool via the Amigos discord server and click on the straw poll links.

Prizes:

1st place: Shiny Heracross (Image will be uploaded soon)

2nd place: 1 Coin Capsule.

Note All prizes will be distributed on the silver server and players must remain on the server for the duration of the tournament in order to receive their prize.
