Getting a Ditto for a Kid + 60,000 Pokedollars = 1 Bike?

Think about it. You're trying to obtain a bike, what do you do? You have to go to route 8 to get a Ditto. You go all the way there, and then you're trying to find 1 Ditto that, unless you don't want a bike, you can't keep it. Then you must go all the way BACK to Vermillion, to see the kid. You must give it to him, and will give you a Bike Voucher. Then you must head to Cerulean, where it costs a LOT OF Pokedollars to get the bike anyways. Then you may go to the Bike Route.

 

I strongly insist you revert it back to the original, where you just listen to somebody, and he'll give you a voucher to get the bike for free. Because this is just so unnecessarily tedious. Maybe Celedon could also have a Bike Shop on a 6th floor, but be 20,000 instead. Where the one in Cerulean is a greedy person who sells overpriced bikes, and the one in Celedon could sell it at its original price.
