PvP Lum Berry Bug (not sure tho)

Sooo, I was playing pvp today and I've had a Dragonite wearing a Lum Berry.

My opponent's Torkoal used Yawn, and after a turn my Dragonite fell asleep.

I saw the text that ,,Lum Berry healed Dragonite's sleep'' (or something similar), but my pokemon was still asleep, meaning that i couldn't do anything, even though my berry got used, which means i've lost a berry ;c.

This happened only once and i don't really mind it because Lum Berries aren't rare, but it would be bad if I lost because of it not healing me.

Greetings, LeeroyKenjins.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for reporting this. I tried to reproduce that specific bug, but the Lum Berry worked as intended against a Status-condition move, like Yawn. I would appreciate it if you can reproduce that scenario you reported, so that I forward this to the appropriate parties and eventually fix it.

Looking forward to your reply!

I've just played another battle but now my opponent was Umbreon and my Lum pokemon was Mew.

Yawn worked properly and so Lum berry did.

I'm not sure why Lum didn't work the last time, but now it did.

EDIT:

I wasn't playing pvp and Mew was my only pokemon in my party.

Hello once again.

Thank you once again for letting us know about that report. Maybe the problem lies in PvP Ranked queue, which I have no permission to test it at. I tried reproducing the bug in an Unranked match, and it worked properly.

With that being said, I would appreciate it if you send me over video evidence of it when it doesn't work in PvP Ranked, so that I can forward it to the appropriate parties. Have a great day!

I'm sorry to say that, but it will be hard for me to reproduce the situation, because i don't have that dragonite anymore + it's hard to find someone with yawn in pvp (considering the fact that i don't want to make up matches). I also have less and less time due to my comeback to school this week. As I said at the start, I don't think i will be able to reproduce this situation in pvp and I'm sorry for that.

Good luck.

Hello there once again. I understand the position you currently are in. I will leave this thread open in case something emerges in the future or you find the correct evidence. Until then, enjoy!
