I am trying to dig run and repel is not working :(

Hey,

I guess you did not quite understand the function of the repel.

Therefore, I'll help you out for a moment. Repel protects you from wild Pokémon that you get when moving.

 

As soon as you use Dig or Headbutt the effect is ignored. This is also the case in the originals.
