I am on the cruise (before Lt. Surge and before tm cut).

Unfortunately, i used my VIP Ticket for the captain's cabin so now I cant enter the VIP in the ballroom, thus disabling me to proceed further.

How do I reset my data?

Hello there! I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

It seems as though you already have the Thunder Badge from Lt. Surge and have already obtained HM01- Cut. Could you please use the search bar in your bag/ check the TMs & HMs section of your bag to confirm you have obtained Cut? Can you also check your Trainer Card so confirm you have obtained the Thunder Badge (3rd Badge for Kanto)?

After obtaining Cut from the Captain, you no longer will be allowed back on to the SS. Anne. In order to continue your story from here, you will need to go back to Cerulean City and go east to Route 9. Afterwards, make your way through the Rock Tunnel and you soon arrive to Lavender Town.

I recommend that you have a look at the Kanto Walkthrough Guide, in case you wonder what to do further from that point or ever get lost in the future in terms of story.

Do you have anymore questions?

Ah! Now, I looked up on the walkthrough of SS ANNE and THEN got to know how to get cut and battled Lt Surge. This happened before you replied and I don't know how to delete a thread (as I am new to forum, not PRO) so......

And yes I actually DO have a question: How do I shiny hunt coz I see many shinies in the chat? Moreover, there are different types of a single species like in Insurgence there is a Delta form. So what ARE they?

Well, there isn't actually a method to hunt shiny Pokemon. PRO doesn't have breeding, Shiny Charm, Pokeradar, or anything that would increase the chances of you finding a shiny pokemon like you would in the official games. You are just relying on luck and hoping you are able to encounter one in the wild with a 1/8192 chance. Or if you happen to do bosses, some of them provide a 3rd win time reward and give you the option for a shiny chance, which is 1/4096.

Going on to your next question, you most likely are referring to the event sprites. Some Pokemon have different event sprites which can only be caught during that event period. An example of this being the Valentine event currently going on right now where you have a 1/550 chance of finding a Valentine sprite Pokemon, some of these being Spearow, Nidoran (Both Female and Male variants), Frillish, Pikachu, Budew, Minun, Plusle, Volbeat, Illumise, Throh, Sawk, Luvdisc, Alomomola, and their evolved forms. Keep in mind, it's purely for looks and doesn't provide anything to benefit the Pokemon just like Shiny Pokemon. You can also see the different sprites of a Pokemon by clicking on them in your Pokedex.

In order to be aware of what events are taking place, I recommend heading to our Official PRO Discord Server where we announce when maintenances, updates, events, and about other such things are taking place, in our #announcements channel.

Hope I clarified things out for you.

Thanks about that info. Sorry to ask another question on an irrelevant thread but are there special places where you can encounter these event sprites? Do these event Mons have different types/IVs/ Exp yeild? Also, a totally random question, what are the benefits of membership,?

Sorry again, if I have not followed the guidelines of this forum by asking irrelevant questions on this thread - if it is against the guidelines- so, as I AM new, can you please link the guidelines?

Thanks a lot

You can search for these kinds of Pokemon wherever they currently spawn, there is no one specific area. If you head to the #bot-commands of our Official PRO Discord Server, and type ^s nameofpokemon, you will be given a list of of locations where they spawn, what time they spawn in, if they require membership, and other things of that nature.

Like I stated before, these event sprites are just for looks. There is nothing different from them and their regular counterparts besides how they appear.

As for membership, the benefits are as follows:

  • 50% experience gain bonus
  • 2x increase to the money-yield rate
  • Access to Membership Exclusive Pokemon and Areas

For more questions in relation to membership perks, I recommend you take a look at our Membership Benefits and Useful Coin Items Guide.

Also, no worries about the questions. Feel free to ask. You can check out the PRO Rules which includes Forum Rules, Trade Rules, PVP Rules, In-Game chat rules, and Overall Game rules.
