6h/Grinding Calculations

Hey, first of all i wanted to make it clear that i am not opening this thread to imply anything. I just wanted to share some findings with you people.

Desert Lagoon Surfing Area

So like the title said i was grinding.On a desert lagoon surf area. Started 00:00 poke time and finished i againt 00:00 poke time. So it was 15x24=360 minutes of grinding. In that time i only tried to catch Azurills, Totodiles and Hippopotos. Total of encounter in that time was 38 Azurills, 5 Totodiles and 1 Hippopotas. So in 360 minutes i could not manage to count the number of pokemon that i encountered but i can say that for on that spot is encountering with an Occosional Tier Pokemon chance is 1/10 between 1/15 and encountering with an Extremely Rare pokemon chance is 1/100 between 1/150. But that rates can change with the variety of pokemon on that spot and the luck of the person.

I also made some calculations about the indivudual values of pokemon that i caught. As we all know the minumum iv we can get on a single stat is 01 and the maximum is 31. So total number we can get on a pokemon minumum 01x6=06 and maximum 31x6=188. So the averagely on a pokemon we can get 188+6/2 = 97 total of ivs. Here you can find the all pokemons i caught in 6 hours with the total ivs.

Those pokemons that i caught with total ivs more than 97+(including 97) are 11. The highest indivudual values on a pokemon was 134.

Those pokemons that i caught with total ivs less than 97- are 33. The lowest indivudual values on a pokemon was 37

Of course those numbers depends on how lucky the trainer is.

Also pokemon's nature can be different. When i asked on chat the hidden ability chances were unknown some is saying %5 but it can also depends on pokemon i suppose. When i check the abilities on Azurills that hidden ability chance was not that low. Total of huge power i got = 18, thick fat = 16 and sap sipper(hidden ability) = 4. It also can depends on how lucky trainer is but in my research it was 2/19 chance. So it is appromixately %10 ish for Azurill.

 

Those calculations that i made it can variefy person to person and days to days. But if i want to give some numbers to summary it would be something like that for desert lagoon surf area :

Azurill/Occasional Tier Pokemon encountering chance is approximately %10-%15

Totodile/Extremely Rare Tier Pokemon encountering chance is approximately %1

Hidden Ability chance for Azurill is approximately %10
