The username is indeed taken by yourself, if you have an issue, try GMail, unfortunately you'll have to use a different username.

Unfortunately there's nothing that we can do, and if you want to wait for staff, you have to wait for the very busy dev to sort it out for you, so you'll be waiting quite a long time. Sorry :(

Gmail is actually the best, also changing the mail adress for your account isnt a feature yet so if you want to play you'll have to create an other account, sorry for the inconvenience
