Black medallion is unfair to people with real life jobs

I would really like to see black medallion's timer stop going down while your not logged into the game. It being 72 hours makes it extremely unfair to people that have to work long hours, whereas people that dont have a job cant get the most effectiveness out of it. Is there a reason this isnt the case? The 72 hours is fine, its just running while logged off which is extremely unfair.

 

I'll make it clear that i have no problem with the Membership timer, thats understandable. But the medallion just lasts too short for it to be going down while logged off.
