Battle animations?

Featured Replies

Can we get battle animations? Is there a reason there isnt more animations? Its not really a big deal, just would be way more visually appealing. Even if its a big job, I'm sure there are a ton of people that would jump at the chance to be the person(s) that would do this just to make the game that much better

Does posting here even do anything? I dont see any mods ever replying or any suggestions actually making a difference

A moderator has no control over content that gets created. Them responding wouldn't really do anything. Also this suggestion gets asked like once a week. If you do some digging you can find your exact question responded to.

An entire battle rework is planned for the game in the near future so creating move animations at the moment is likely a low priority until decisions get made on that for the future. Likewise, artists make new cosmetics, mapping tiles for new areas, sprites for event pokemon, as well as other behind the scenes projects. Creating move animations (which are nice to look at, sure) but only apply to small amounts of people (not every pokemon has access to a move with the correct animation) does not really warrant the overall amount of effort required to implement them in game. Does that mean it'll never happen? No, of course not, however there are more pressing issues that staff are likely working on.
