I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

 

Can you please try the following steps and check if it still doesn't evolve.

a. Close the client completely, and relog.

b. Empty your party slot so that you can receive the traded pokemon.

c. Kill a wild pokemon with shelmet and proceed the trade.

Only karrablast tried to evolve, shelmet doesn't :(

Then, can you let your shelmet get defeated by a pokemon to get it's happiness decreased.

After this logout wait a couple seconds, relog revive the shelmet and then try the trade procedure.
