Locked Pokemon in PC Storage

Hello,

there was a guy asking for my help earlier on today. He wanted to evolve his pokemon through a trade and he gave it to me for a while. For some reason (i think because i didn't finish sinnoh/hoenn quests) the pokemon is locked in my pc storage. There was a message that was telling me that exact same thing but i didn't read id due to lack of time (I know my bad). The thing is that i'm holding a stranger's pokemon and he needs this. Sadly i can't finish the hoenn/sinnoh quests any soon. Is there any way that i can give this guy back his pokemon?
