Apologies if this has been covered before, here goes though. So at the moment I'm kinda stuck in the story in Sinnoh, I just attained the 7th badge and went to Veilstone for the Team Galaxy confrontation. I beat the guy in front of the HQ and he gave the password, however when I try to open the door in the HQ it says I need a password, which is weird since I already got it, so I'm basically stuck there without being able to proceed.

Are you trying to go in via Galactic Warehouse Entrance or the Team Galactic HQ 1F? The password you have should be for the Warehouse i think.
