yes, once you beat Lt. Surge you go right from the town and you will find a cave opening, you go through that

once you beat Lt. Surge. you will then leave the gym, you will head right, you will continue going right unto the next map, then you should see a cave opening, once you see that cave opening, you will enter the cave, you will head up through the cave until you come out of the cave on the other side, once there. you will head down. you will enter a house which is between 2 maps. (not the normal house) once you enter this building that is at the end of the map you are on. you will see people sitting at a table (if I remember correctly) you will then talk to the scientist looking person, which will be Professor Oaks Assistant. he will give you Flash. then you can continue on with the storyline
