Sketch for Smeargle

Hi! I noticed that i can't teach sketch to my Smeargles nor through move relearner npc neither through egg moves.

I don't know if this is intended or not but I'm looking forward to find a solution since i taught them moves to lvl up easily that are not intended to be in their final moveset.

Hi, @GianTonic.

 

First, I want to note that smeargle can learn sketch via move relearner.

However, in your case, I think your smeargle is already learning sketch.

Since you can't fill up a pokemon's moveset with the same moves, the move relearner doesn't show you sketch.

 

So, if you use your current sketch and copy another move, you'll be able to teach sketch to your smeargle.

ex)

Your smeargle's moveset : 1. Sketch / 2. Tackle / 3. Quick Attack / 4. Mach Punch --> "Sketch" doesn't show in the move relearner's move list

Your smeargle's moveset : 1. Bullet Punch / 2. Tackle / 3. Quick Attack / 4. Mach Punch --> "Sketch" shows up in the move relearner's move list
