legendary dog quest bugged please help

i have seen and battled all the legendary dogs in the wild, i have over 800 hours played, but all scientist rey says when i speak to him is "i'm relying on you.... i really need those beasts data to complete my research" please help me

Same for me - 470h of playtime and all dogs seen in dex but Scientist Rey give me same text as for him…

You can get the beasts data through PvP and possibly some other bosses, if you haven't got the data from the source the legendary dog quest requires then you can't progress the quest. Check the walkthrough for quest and repeat the get data part, you will be missing one/all of them
