I was thinking events like every month, with like custom skins for pokemon, like the christmas ones. i know the pro team would have to do more but it would be cool to do. Also, new events like maybe hide in seek etc. also, new custom prizes etc etc.

There's lots of events on a monthly basis in the way of clans, general player-made ones and such. In addition, the legendary tournament is currently in process, so these do happen.

Custom skins for pokemon shouldn't really be given out like hot-cakes, they should be extremely rare and event-only. Having a monthly event as you say for limited items hardly makes them limited anymore unfortunately.

It's a nice idea, but it already happens in other ways, you just need to look around the forums a bit.
