I have a problem with Easter Event Quest. From last year, I tried at least 3 times running to find and re-check Eggs basket for quest. I have gathered all baskets but the npc always said that I missed 2. Can anyone help me with this problem? GMs/Staffs/Mods can help me to check this?

There is a total of 20 Baskets. The NPC should tell you how many you already found. Can you tell me what he is saying? Looking forward to your reply.

You mean not 40 baskets same as last year event?

No. This year is different from last year. Also this year they are also only in the Event Area and not all over Kanto. To find them all you also need to do the Shaymin Quest though to gain access to Suzuka Towers and Cave ;-)

Btw... I have heard 5 crying sounds but there is no prompt saying "You hear a rumble in the distance"!? What should I do?

Try to relog and check all 5 locations again. Maybe one of them did not work for some reason
