Kiritouzumaki
Do pokemon level at different rates when they evolve? Because how I understand it is that there are 6 experience groups and depending on the species of the pokemon it will be in one of these 6 groups (Erratic, Fast, Medium Fast, Medium Slow, Slow, and Fluctuating) "The amount of experience points a Pokémon has is tied directly to its level. Though the amount varies depending on species, always remaining consistent throughout an evolutionary family, a given amount of experience points will always set a Pokémon at the corresponding level." Meaning a lvl 60 Pidgey and a lvl 60 Pidgeot will require the same amount of exp to increase by 1 level because they are in the same evolutionary family. But 2 pokemon that are level 60 but are in a different experience group will require a different amount of exp to gain a level. I'm wondering if PRO does it differently because everyone in game is saying that unevolved pokemon level at a faster rate than if you evolve them. Which is the first I've heard about because, I've only know that you learn moves earlier if you don't evolve them...they've never leveled faster keeping them unevolved. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense. Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/14987-pokemon-evolution-speeds/ Share on other sites

For example, pidgey need 55exp for levelup while pidgeot need 172exp instead -> Lv60 pidgey and pidgeot not the same amount of exp (you wrong at this point). That's work same with original game Pokemon too. You can use the carterpie and butterfly at the same level, and then see what the exp need for level up (that's very clear for illustration in game) My EV training daycare: ♥ Mayelesa Day Care ♥ Pokemon Kanto and Johto Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/14987-pokemon-evolution-speeds/#findComment-113549 Share on other sites
