As you can see (I hope), my karrablast isn't evolving to escavalier when traded with a shelmet. Is it a bug or is there any other requirements I need to do?

Sorry for the inconvenience. Could you please try the following:

 

Let the Poke faint 1 time

Log out for about a min

Log back in

Heal up at any PC

and then try again?
