I downloaded the game as a zip file, but when I opened it, there was nothing there to start the game up.

 

What have you already tried to solve the problem?

I have tried to extract it, but it didnt work so i deleted that one and dowloaded it again.

there isn't when I right click on it, but when i open the file there is a button near file that says extract

Well try that extract button, if it work you'll have that at the end : VnX3kdM.png depending on what version you downloaded

folder next to the executable."

You did a shorcut to launch your game ? You got what i showed you on the screen ? It should be in a file named PROWin32 i think
