I just caught a mankey holding an "unkown hat". When i put it in my bag, it disappeared. Can you help me ?

Could you try to talk to Ash anyway? If I remember it correctly that Item can not be seen in your Inventory, but Ash will still turn it into Ash's Hat for you if Pikachu was your Starter. :) Please let me know if that worked for you. Otherwise please make a Screenshot of what he says so we can look into what's causing it.
