Hey fam,

Was playing the game and came across a glitch. It isn't game breaking but a glitch is a glitch. Basically, I threw a poke-ball at a pokemon, and it instantly appeared in my party before it finished capping. Kinda took away the aspect of "am I gonna capture this pokemon or not"

Shane knows about this issue. And said he could set it to be a delayed response to give it that surprise still.

Yeah, it's the same with xp etc (the xp registers before the attack animation.

 

It's generally because the real-time gains could have issues ingame with players disconnecting as the pokemon catches, gets xp etc, so it's done before any other factors at the final part. As you said, bit of a sad side effect, but would you rather that, or lose pokemon/xp if you disconnect during that time?

Yeah, makes sense. Just thought I should mention it just in case it wasn't part of the design :D
